This story is a sequel to A Question On Forever

The sun and Celestia are dying, and Luna with them. Discord is keeping them company but they get an unexpected visitor they thought long gone in the Eternal Pony, Minuette. Afterward, the two oldest friends, Discord and Minuette have a short chat while death races towards what remains of Equestria.

Again based off some silly little headcanon like my first one, but hey it was fun to write. The prequel isn't required to read, but it gives a little bit of the explanation of the weird headcanon in this one.

King Sombra has returned and snatched the Crystal Empire in Princess Cadence and the rest of Equestria prepares for his next play to take more, but it never comes. And after the first few escapees from the empire, no other refugees flee to Canterlot or other cities. The princesses are very, very confused, but have to reclaim the Crystal Empire either way.

Sombra takes a little while to show up directly, but the story really is about him so I didn't think anyone else got enough focus to tag them.

Cheerilee deals with being retired and seemingly having nothing really left to do in Equestria, perhaps her passed students can teach her a lesson in turn.

I had to do some timeline chopping to get it to work but nothing major, just some movements of years.

I had to toss in a handful of OCs for her students/famous writers/poets but I didn't list it because the story is about Cheerilee, not them. And technically the last non canon pony is actually taken from one of her students seen in the show but I had to give her a name.

Twilight Sparkle came to terms with her new status as an alicorn some time ago. However as a few years pass and her brother now has a foal it turns her mind to the future, specifically her future. Celestia and Luna were immortal, and now was she too immortal? She will learn the truth with the help of Celestia, and Minuette. And we get to know Minuette's secret.

Random little story that popped into my head with some strange head canon at the end. The middle also has head canon but it's taking stuff from my little pony and explaining/approaching it with head canon. The end is just me thinking "this would be interesting."
