This story's gonna be a bit different in regards to tone (at least I'm gonna try to make it that way). It'll still have that dark edge that my other stories do, but to me at least, this one feels a little more... wholesome?

I don't know, I just felt all warm and fuzzy inside while I was writing it and that's something I want to convey. The story is ultimately going to be about growing up and growing close to the ones you spend time with.

Okay so, unfortunately I haven't gotten too much done since I released the last chapter of The Viruses of Harmony due to my toothache. It was that and a bit of writing burnout as well.

Should I add BGM to my story? I'd like to think the music can add some atmosphere to a situation and the story as a whole, but I could just as easily be wrong. I'm not really sure what the concensus is on whether or not people like having music in a story but I'll leave it up the readers.

So in the last chapter I said there would be more action more exposition and another member of the Mane 6... but... it kinda didn't work out that way when I was writing it.

Keep in mind that there has been no change to the actual story - it's just that one part of the story dragged on way longer than I expected it to.

Okay so Thinks are still going strong for my latest story. Currently working on the next chapter even as I write this (actually took a quick break to write this) so no issues there.

In all honesty I'm probably going to focus on this one for the next couple of chapters (or more specifically until I reach about 15000+ words) before I bring more attention to Sparkle again.

New story is up and I'm planning regular updates every couple of days or so for this one while I work on Sparkle. I'm also making some headway on TMWW so that might be taken off hiatus soon as well, but no promises on that one.

Episode II of Sparkle is still chugging along with approx. 3000+ words so far. Right now my attention is split between this, SMT: Nocturne, and Tokyo Xanadu.

FYI I'm gonna be even more distracted tomorrow because... well...

Current chapter of TMWW is about 1/3 of the way done (finished Rarity's meeting)

Approx 600 words into the next chapter of Sparkle (not too much progress yet I'm afraid)
