I am a self proclaimed horror and dark fantasy fic writer. You want darkness, death, and despair? You've come to the right place. Also an eternal Twilight Sparkle and avid Lovecraft fan.
Nailah was nice enough to request an interview and I figured I haven't really done anything like that or talked about myself too much so why not? You can find the interview here, so check it out if you wanna know a bit more about me.
Btw I started writing in 2017 not 2018, just a heads up on a slight mistake I made.
Not sure how this one escaped my notice, but it's pretty damn good for what it is—it being another Lovecraftian tale adapted to the video game medium. I don't have a PSVR or Oculus headset so I had to make do with watching a let's play of the game. It seems to draw heavy (heavy) inspiration from At the Mountains of Madness specifically, and again, while I do have some nitpicks, on the whole, Insomniac games did a damn good job.
I find I'm getting a lot more writing done working on one story at a time, so I'm gonna continue on in the same vein with the next story that's the closest to being done out of my other stories. For those hoping I'll jump right into the Life is Magic sequel I apologize, but I wanna focus on finishing some of my other existing stories first, namely the ones I feel are a bit closer to completion or that I know aren't gonna be super long.
(TL;DR at the bottom for those who 'ain't got time for that')

Hey all, just wanted to give a quick update on things. Firstly, I might be a bit more absent these days, but I'm certainly not idle. While there has been a distressing amount of writer's block for many of my stories, I'm trying to push through that by working on mulitple stories a bit at a time, with mostly positive results. As a result I'm taking things a lot more slowly, ergo the much slower updates.
New story's up, go check it out if you're interested!
I'm both incredibly excited to see what the game has to offer and horribly worried that the game might not be as good as I'd hoped. Really though, as long as it's better than the Call of Cthulu PS4 game, then I think I'll be satisfied. Didn't exactly hate Call of Cthulu, but it definitely had some major flaws, both as a Lovecraft tale and as a game in general. The Sinking City at least looked like it was gonna be a lot better so here's hoping it actually is.
