Well! This isn't how I expected to be starting this con-trip retrospective, but it seems like I might as well! To explain, the trip, spoilers, was quite good! ...Until about Washington, on the way home. Maybe around Charlottesville? We'd been running not just on but ahead of schedule for most of the run, but we started to hit delays around there, I think... and then we got seriously delayed in Washington, due to some difficulty with the locomotive switch, or... something.
