So I Wanted to Share Something Wonderful With You All · 9:38pm Nov 16th, 2014

One Stormy Night was a series of Japanese children's books about a wolf and a goat who meet by chance during a storm and form a friendship. While it did well, it was never the height of popularity, and while an animated movie was made of the story, it was never distributed outside of Japan. That is until a dedicated group of fans, acting with the permission of the studio, recorded and produced their own dub of the movie which they then distributed across the internet on Youtube, making it into

An Announcement · 4:33am Nov 7th, 2014

I have had a bad day.

A really bad day, in some aspects. Stuff happened that screwed with me emotionally, I'm now 3 days behind on my NanoWriMo project, and I've just generally been places I would rather not have been.

And then, after all that, I see I have a tab open of an old fic I never finished to satisfaction. The story was complete, but never edited completely. On impulse, I did what I could to touch it up, and am publishing it tonight.

The Great Library Shuffle · 9:02pm Oct 27th, 2014

I've had this post typed up for a while but have been distracted from posting it for a variety of reasons. So, without further ado, let me explain what madness I've planned on wreaking with the new Bookshelf system:

Lessons from 'The Forever War' or Why I Don't Think I'll Ever Write Hard Sci-Fi · 9:22pm Oct 24th, 2014

So, since we are a community of writers here it occurs to me that you all may be interested in my thoughts on writing, some of which have been stirred by a book I had finished recently. To begin, I was perusing Amazon.com when it made a recommendation to me, a little book called the Forever War. It was described to me thus:

It is done · 5:20pm Oct 19th, 2014

For those unaware, I have put up the final snapshot in the story that I began with The Moon Has a Softer Light.

I hope you all enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Announcing a Victory · 3:42am Oct 14th, 2014

I have been fighting for a week, and now I am (more or less) victorious. I would like to announce that I am making this post from my Ubuntu Linux desktop.

I have finally got it, more or less, working. Having trouble connecting to my home wifi, but I have reason to suspect it may be a router problem, and I have a work around anyway, and yes, I am using KDE. Because Unity and Gnome 2 forks are for scrubs.

Two of Three · 4:31pm Oct 13th, 2014

I have published a new short-fic, The Sun Shines High, and Alone, a sequel to The Moon Has a Softer Light, and what I plan to be the second story in a trilogy of sorts.

Enjoy, and stay turned.

Satisfaction · 10:10pm Oct 10th, 2014

It's always makes me smile when I post a new story and I watch the notifications as someone decides to read my whole catalog - and loves it.

Also:

Sixty up-votes and not a single downvote. It kind of tickles me that that happened.

Thanks guys.

Also, for the fans of Softer Light in crowd, don't worry. There are sequels in the works.
