My greatest unfulfilled ambition as a writer of My Little Pony fanfiction is to one day write a joke that references the practice of gingering without doing so in a necessarily sexual context.

My best idea at the moment is to relate it to doping in sports in some manner, but that doesn't make a whole lot of sense in the context of the show. I may resort to some kind of cooking accident, I'm not sure.

I went to Otakon, for those wondering. It was a lot of fun! I encountered a lot of dudes wearing My Little Pony t-shirts. It was kind of a surreal experience. I also spent more money than was probably a great idea, but I do not think I will regret it.

Today I did something I don't usually consider and altered a couple of my fics due to reader feedback. I prefer to let a work stay finished, lest I go the George Lucas route, but in this particular case some readers were getting rather the wrong impression. I wrote Correspondence and Fluffershy shortly after Winter Wrap-Up aired, when we still knew relatively little about the world the show took place in, and at the time I had no idea when certain events in the ponies' lives took place.
