Having done it for the previous two seasons, it is once again, for one last time, my duty to rank the ways Friendship Is Magic depicted Lyra and Bon Bon as a couple during the year.
I don’t have anywhere else to put this snippet of narrative, but here’s something that happened around this time in Lyra and Bon Bon’s life together.
It’s time for my what-is-apparently-now-annual tradition where I judge the show on how well it portrayed Lyra and Bon Bon as a couple for the season!

Recently, it's become offensive for a pony to dress up as, say, a griffon. But Lyra hopes the humans understand that she did this entirely out of love.
Finally! I’m publishing the story that I thought I was going to publish around July or so. The problem was, I needed to finish writing it first, and my real-life job kept getting in the way of that.
I readily acknowledge that there’s a limited audience for this addition to my already-limited-audience Lyra and Bon Bon Series. I’m not sure how enjoyable it’ll be to people who have no knowledge of the source material, but if nothing else, at least I like what I’ve written.
Sorry for the silence. Work has been absolutely kicking my butt lately, leaving me no time to do things like write stories or wash my dishes.
(And yes, I know I’m not very good at drawing.)
Now that I’m not writing a story in which I obsess over Lyra and Bon Bon, I can use some of that free time to obsess over Lyra and Bon Bon. Specifically, their appearances across season seven, where they showed up together in a respectable number of episodes (once in a while, even with speaking roles!). As the person who wrote the most about the pony couple this year (as best as I can tell from scanning search results on this site), I feel that it is my duty to judge the way they were depicted
After months of work (I started writing at the end of March and kept at it during any free evenings and weekends I had up ’til now), I’ve finished another novella in my Lyra and Bon Bon Series. We’re moving forward to look at moments in their relationship that take place slightly later than where Friendship Is Magic is currently at! (Well, we will be once chapter four begins.) This is a sequel to Lyra’s Journey and My True Self – it’s a little bit shorter than the latter,
