As promised, this blog is about the Anon-a-Miss comic and the interpretation I chose to use in Finding a Place. It's been a pretty major headache for me and the main cause of my writer's block over the summer. I’m sure I’ll get used to the new look which does have potential but there are one or two headaches I can see for writers. As much as I am at loathe to admit it, I am not certain when the next chapter of Finding a Place will be done. I was absolutely flattened by illness this weekend and my head just hasn't been in the writing game. While I think I'm on the road to recovery, I'm not 100% certain. With the way the last 6 months have gone, I'm not counting on it. Rest assured it is in slow progress, as are my other stories and I'll publish it as soon as it is done.

Seventeen chapters in seventeen weeks is a pretty decent accomplishment for me and I was hoping to keep that up. I suppose this day was bound to happen though. My holiday curse has hit with full force this Christmas and I have barely written anything in the past week. I've been sick in or around Christmas for years now. I get my flu shot and everything but something always takes me down.

As of the posting of chapter 16 of ‘Finding a Place’, this story has grown to 100,000 words in length. It’s quite a mark to reach in my honest opinion. You only need 50,000 words for a story to be considered a novel apparently. I’ve got some thoughts about the story past the break to share but they might contain a few minor spoilers. If you’d rather avoid spoilers until you’ve read the story I’d suggest leaving for now.
