I haven't worked on my stories in a while. I just haven't had the inspiration to get back in. Since I've received some pretty positive responses from my Duel of the Fates spinoffs, I thought I'd head into the next part. The story will be mostly moving away from the Mane 7 characters and focus on Tempest and Rose. I also want to set it in a new locale to make it a much larger scale of conflict and set up a whole other cast of characters. This is just something that irks me a bit. It's not the down votes themselves on my stories. I acknowledged a long time ago as a writer that not everyone is going to like what I write. I've got my mojo back. Not...not like an Austin Powers mojo but you know, my zest for writing. I got a chapter written in a week and hope to have the story I'm working on finished before the end of the year and get back to work on my Lightning Dust story that I've had on the back burner before tackling some one-shots I've wanted to do.

I've been working on something special for the start of next month. I've been brainstorming it for over a month before. Suddenly yesterday, over halfway through I stopped and thought to myself: What am I writing this for? Usually when I make a deadline for myself I have no problem getting a story out.
