5 stars away from 1st place in the most recent Angry Birds 2 Arena tournament and the tournament ends, halving what I could've gotten if I was in 1st place to 500 gems and pearls. How did I manage that?

Let's just say I was too busy replying in comments on EV's stories to realize when it ended, and in a scramble to get back to 1st place, I gained ~+35 stars within a few minutes, but ended up losing the final match, and got stuck in second.

I stole it back from the guy who took it, but turns out they formatted the drive to put a pirated copy of Halo on it, overwriting around a quarter of the several hundred files I had on the drive. While nearly all of the files were archived assignments, I often use them as reference for future assignments or to study from for tests and quizzes.

Why does it always feel like I'm losing a part of myself even when I'm losing something as simple as a flash drive?

I have no idea. It could be that the aforementioned flash drive contains two quarters worth of work from two classes before it was stolen, or it has the exact same weird emotional attachment as that one time when I lost a mechanical pencil I had managed to not lose for two years.

While there are OpenGL to Direct3D wrappers available floating around the internet, they're all either for x86 processors or are too buggy to get Minecraft to launch. I got as far as the Minecraft Launcher before getting smacked with a faceful of errors. I guess I'll just have to wait and see if something better pops up sometime. In the meantime, at least I know a list of ARM-compiled things for WinRT.
