Calm down. Use logic.
Separate fears from caution.
Maybe take a nap.
The Poetic Frost makes mistakes so that you don't have to. "Dance, Sode no Shirayuki!"
Calm down. Use logic.
Separate fears from caution.
Maybe take a nap.
I've been writing a couple stories in bursts that I've yet to submit. I know, I've still technically got a couple that are incomplete that I should probably get back to. But sometimes, the mind just doesn't work that way.
Anyway, keep on.
You're still alive, are you not?
Because you saw this.
Time moves forward still
A life stands in the middle
It needs a focus
---
Happy, sad, all else
Depression drains ev'rything
But there's still a fight
---
Wherever you lead
That is part of your story
It has to be you
Sometimes, I imagine characters interacting with worlds and situations that they really have no business being. A post-apocalyptic protagonist wondering how there are so many different brands of one product in the same present-day store, a side character from a Pokemon fic using a reality-bending attack against a wannabe acolyte of darkness, the cast of a dead fic exploring a completed fic even though their original story wasn't done yet... stuff like that.
... let me say this ahead of time.
Merry Christmas, and
A happy New Year to all
Of you that read this.
It has been a few years since I finished writing one of my most liked stories on this site. While I am sure that I don't have any more of that particular story to tell, I couldn't help but reflect on possible things related to it from time to time. But, I don't really see a way to put those ideas into a proper sequel without falling short of the original spirit. So... here are a few of the ideas as they currently stand in regards to what Dilan Shier the Nightmare Moon pony could have been up
... something Varric from Dragon Age: Inquisition said is starting to sink in.
If you love a character, you give them pain, ruin their lives, make them suffer. Maybe even throw in a heroic death. ... If she had a nice afternoon and she took a nap, you'd stop reading.
State of being where
The mind runs overtime yet
The page remains bare
Nothing feels just right
Events I want to portray
Simply do not stick
Couple hundred words
Press backspace too many times
I almost feel tired
Be it at chess or the written work, a single choice may create an alternate path in which the individual chose or acted differently. That in turn lends itself to the idea that time travel is either impossible or not as practical as we'd like it. Because traveling to the past or future via a special machine would actually mean going to a different parallel universe, one that leaves no impact on the time period that the traveler left behind.
