Well here I am, as promised. All updating and weekly and stuff. The first couple of scenes of chapter 6 are done. Still a bit rough, but they're there, and sitting at around 2100 words so far. Considering that that's about half the length of my average chapter, and taking into consideration that this one is only between a quarter and a third done, I feel pretty confident that this is going to be another long one. Now I hate going out and doing something like this, but I'm going to go ahead on record and state that I expect chapter 5 to be finished and posted by sometime this weekend. I've actually had some time (and energy) to work on it off and on the last two or so weeks, and it's currently sitting at just about done. Just another quick update. The story was (rightfully) kicked back for some grammatical editing, which I have (hopefully) gotten mostly corrected. I'll be updating all four chapters tonight with the revisions, and submitting again on Friday (because apparently they're changing the way submissions get handled that day). Chapters are all 'dun' up real purtty' and updated. I also changed the description and the tags, which are now more or less 'correct'. And finally submitted to EqD, so, you know, fingers crossed and all of that. Now I don't have any reasons to put off working on the next chapter....resigned face...

All of the chapters have been gone over and polished to a dull shine. On a related note, if anyone knows of a way to transfer something written in MS Office to FimFiction without losing all of the formatting (i.e. italics, spacing and indentation, ect), you will become my new favorite person. I plan to go through the whole story, as it is, in an attempt to polish it up some more before I try submitting it to EqD. The changes will be largely cosmetic (some editing, rewording and section moves), and I don't anticipate any new content being added, so a re-read shouldn't be required. I will of course let folks know if I get all crazy and start adding new scenes or completely changing existing scenes.
