The Lion's Roar is now available to read! · 3:01pm Sep 30th, 2019
I hope you enjoy it! And hopefully these two chapters are enough to invest you!
Mares are cute. They are also fluffy. I want to pet the pretty mares and give them snuggles.

Lyon has it: a perfect life. Great friends, a great home, a great job, all while living in one of the greatest towns his eyes have ever been set upon! Life is perfect for him!
But nothing is ever set in stone, it seems. As the past crawls back into his life, Lyon must remember to swear to his duty—Never Again.
Name (and teeny bit of the story) inspired by this song:
Whelp, now that After is out of the way, time to talk new stories!
I've got a couple stories currently in the works, and am attempting to figure out a workable schedule to write new and publish chapters. Still being in school, I'm still working to focus on my work while balancing working on stories. It's not difficult... I'm just lazy.
After four years of on-and-off writing, anticipating, and trying to act all clever (when I really wasn't), After is finally completed!
Over time, I'll be rewriting bits and pieces here and there, as well as removing unnecessary tension and storylines that went nowhere, but if you came for the rainbow pone, she be here!
Thank you to those that stayed till the end!
Looking back, I had a really weird writing style when I wrote this. Em dashes were just three hyphens, there were too many descriptions, and someone brought up a good point that the main character was pretty much using AJ as a rebound in case his attempts with Rainbow failed... and AJ was completely fine with it?
I feel like it's a waste of space to make a blog post just to say a story's been updated, but hell, in case people haven't seen it or were notified, it helps. :P
But yeah, new chapter is up! 4000+ words. :)
And reading what this main character thinks is sometimes awkward. I mean, despite what happened, he legitimately is expecting Rainbow to acknowledge the fact that he let her on the train before him. I mean, that's just one thing of many that I now realize is so awkward to read nowadays. My dialogue and writing skills are on par with Scott Gimple. :D
Just a little tidbit of info as I work on After and plan to rewrite Regret proper.
Okay, so I gave it some thought and finally decided the whole Fluttershy scene in After was completely unnecessary and way too out of character, even for a drunk version of her. So that's been taken out. Now she's just silly and drunk instead of... the other thing.
I mean, no point in really taking up a blog just to make this statement, but it's to show I'm not dead.
I plan to finish and put out a new chapter today (Sunday), so yee!
This one gained unnecessary controversy in, personally, a random way. I went through the effort of giving a lengthy author's note at the beginning, so I definitely encourage you to read it first.
I wanted to expand on this story, but considering the backlash it gotten, it'll more than definitely stay a one-time thing.
Hey, maybe I'll change my mind and write about how it led to nuclear war between the two worlds. Hopefully no nuclear wars happen anytime between then!
I got so used to it that seeing the default 100% size surprised me.
