I'm a strong believer that an author is truly the one that makes all the decisions in a story, but sometimes it still feels like I'm just watching these ponies live their lives and writing down what I see. And tonight, Soarin' surprised me.

Hi, guys!

When I started writing Sensation, Braeburn's accent was a little more pronounced in the writing. The biggest change was how he referred to himself - he used to say "Ah'm Braeburn!" but I've changed it to the more normal "I'm Braeburn!" My hope is that you can read it in his voice in your head, but please let me know what you think:

Do you prefer "I" or "Ah" for when Braeburn (or another Apple) refer to themselves?

Soooo..... Halloween. Good times had by all, yes? What did you end up doing? I went to a party with a bunch of people in my master's program. Dancing makes me happy. Drinking makes me dance.
