Life of Syn - Midterms and Birthday Project · 3:22am Oct 22nd, 2014

Midterms are finally done. Sweet jeebus. That nice thing about applied statistics, at least, is that my midterms were almost all projects instead of tests. On a related note, if you want to know about prostitution in Chicago over the past few years, I can tell you what's what. For academic reasons, of course. :trixieshiftright:

Speaking of awkward transitions, it's my birthday on Sunday! YAAAAY!!!! :pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy::pinkiecrazy:

Don't worry, though. I'm not expecting anything from y'all. Quite the contrary: I've got a gift for YOU!!! New story coming this Sunday, based on one of my favorite pieces of pony art from recent memory. There will be Best Pony, and there will be tequila.

If you're interested in prereading, send me a note. I could use somepony to give some initial feedback.

That's about all for now. Thanks as always for reading my horse words. You make me smile.

Dude if you have a method for balancing school and writing I'd love to hear it. I usually just alternate between which one I'm neglecting more.

That's certainly one way to do it. For my part, I use writing as a creative, and a lot of my writing happens on fifteen or thirty minute breaks from homework (or regular work). I'll jot down a paragraph or four into my notebook whenever I have time, which really helps me de-stress.

Fun fact: almost all of 'Sensation' has been drafted this way.
