Today, I stand here mourning the loss of Stephen Hawking, one of the greatest scientific minds of all time, and one of my personal idols. He was not only absolutely brilliant, but also loved humor, wrote children’s novels, and was generally a wonderful human being. When he was only a few years older than I am, he was diagnosed with the condition that would later reduce his movement until he was unable to move all but a cheek muscle. So, I've finally realized what's been really bothering me so much about Entropy:

This is not a reformation story. It's about taking Discord's character and crushing it to broken pieces and dust, leaving behind something shockingly dull and mindless behind. This is not Balance, or Harmony, except in the barest sense. I'm destroying his character on a fundamental level and leaving nothing but Order behind.

The next chapter is very, very nearly done. I've finished the hard part (Finally) and now I've just got to iron out a little bit more before it's ready. This is going to be the longest chapter so far. When I do release it, I suggest going back over at least the last chapter or two and rereading them, as it has been quite a long time and most people have probably forgotten a lot of it.

So. Entropy. I tried to improve it by making it longer, but so far it doesn't seem like it's going so well, and it's been a pain and an unenjoyable struggle to try and write it, so I'm debating just re-releasing the original chapter and either taking down the poorly written 'rewrite' chapters, or slapping a hiatus on the thing until I feel able to 're-rewrite' it better.
