Moving for Summer Internship · 4:34am May 31st, 2017
Hello everybody, today I have an announcement to make! I've got an internship this summer, but it's out of state. In fact, it's all the way in Georgia, which is a far cry from California, where I usually live. So, this summer, I'll be staying in Georgia!
This brings some ups and downs. For one, I won't be able to make any progress in writing at all for probably at bare minimum, a few days, but up to two weeks as I normalize in the new location. Also, the internship as a whole might detract from my ability to write, as I'll be working five days a week.
I have, by the way, been making progress recently! If all goes well, I should be able to post another chapter soon for The Winter Memoirs, and Changed's sequel (unnamed, as of now) already has one chapter, but I'm waiting on posting that until I find a title and write a few buffer chapters.
An awesome benefit of my internship, however, is that I may just be able to attend Trotcon this year, as my first Convention! However, in order to do that, I have to find transportation for the 8-hour or so drive, and I'm not able to rent a car. If any of you have advice on methods of transportation, or plan on attending the con yourself, feel free to leave a comment or PM me! Also, if you live in Georgia in general, feel free to comment or PM if you've got anything you think I should know about the state, or good sites I should see while I'm there.
