In a separate reality in the pages of one of Celestia's storybooks, four ponies wish to change their fates and stories. Fluttershy wants to attend the Princess's festival. Button Mash wants his cow to make milk. Mr. and Mrs. Cake just want a foal. and the only way they can accomplish these wishes is to travel Into the Everfree. But dangers lie ahead, and they all must learn that we must all be careful what we wish for, and there is never an easy way out.

a parody/retelling for the Broadway musical and film "Into the Woods"

Lindsay Morgan is a girl who mostly keeps to herself, isn't very social, and spends her days at home. Till one day, for a change of pace, she goes for a walk, but stumbles (or more or less crashes) into a certain cyan pegasus. Lindsay is unsure of what to do, and brings Dash to her house. Soon more ponies show up, things go array, and Lindsay learns about friendship, all while writing her experience in her diary.
