Hey all!
Okay, as some of you may know, I put out a book last year. Well, now I've put out its sequel.
Does this look infected to you?
Hey all!
Okay, as some of you may know, I put out a book last year. Well, now I've put out its sequel.
Hey all!
The story that Landgrave and I did--Beautiful: Rainbow Dash--got a dramatic reading from the talented Goombasa, and I gotta say, he did a great job.
Go on over and give it a listen here.
Hey all!
I read a comment on the thread of my new story--Who Rules?: Relations--that indicated that it did not show up in the feed for at least one of my followers. Is that happening with anyone else?
I don't want folks wondering when I'm going to post the new story and getting mad, only because they didn't know it was up.
Thanks!
Nom
I'm not dead. Just thought I should mention that, considering my lack of posts lately.
On the other hand, I'm just about finished with the first chapter of Who Rules?: Relations. Should be out by next week at the latest.
Honest.

Heyo.
To all the folks who celebrate it today, Happy Thanksgiving.
I'm thankful for my friends and the wonderful opportunities that have been presented to me in the past year. This site and you folks have been wonderful, and I appreciate everything that has happened because of it. Now, I've had more than my fair share of crap, too, but that's not what the day is about.
Just finished watching this video
There is a bunch of fascinating information in that thing, and even more in the data that is linked below it. One of the things that I discovered is that, apparently, I am the 280th most prolific writer on the site. Much, much higher than I expected. It also puts me in the top 1% of authors in word count. Weird.
Well, another chapter of my life has closed.
If you have read past posts, you've read about my brother losing his leg just over a year ago. Well, this past weekend everything caught up to him and he also lost his life. He died of sudden kidney failure, with no sign of anything coming on before it hit.
It isn't normal for me to be torn up by the death of someone I've never met. I can feel a ton of sympathy for their family and friends, but normally it just passes me by.
Tonight isn't one of those nights.
Three times a celebrity death has affected me: The death of Jim Henson, the murder of Phil Hartman, and the suicide of Robin Williams. And of those three, it's Robin Williams that has hit me the hardest.
Wow.
I mean that quite seriously: wow.
The idea of having five hundred people following me never crossed my mind when I first began writing these stories. I was just hoping that someone would enjoy them and that I would get some (much needed) writing practice in. Yet, here we are with me writing a blog post to thank each and every one of you--though not individually, that would get annoying to read--for choosing to follow me and read whatever it is that I might be putting out there.
I was curious, so I made a little poll. It should be totally anonymous, so don't worry about revealing anything. I would really appreciate answers, if you have a couple of minutes. And if you want to comment specifically about any of it below, please do!
