Okay, last goal not achieved, was too sick and didn't write for a couple days. But, over the last two days I've gotten another 2,300 words down, which isn't that terrible.

HA! I beat the goal of 1,750 words and completed the scene!

Tomorrow, I try for 1,900 words!

Yesterday, I wrote 1,550 words. Today, I managed 1,650! That completed a large scene, although there are several more to go in block two. Once all the initial writing of block two is done, I'll submit my side story for moderation. Once that is posted, I'll update Rites. I can't give an estimate on how much more I have to write on block two, because, frankly, each time I do I'm horribly, horribly WRONG.

Well, MRI was clear, but the doc said that MS can be present in the spinal cord too, and a brain MRI isn't a final answer. My response? "No! Don't tell me that! >_<" Now I'm STILL worried about it and we're no closer to a cause for these symptoms.

Much as the US health care system has it's faults (and a LOT of them, seriously, it's a mess), there is one thing that's kinda nice about it, and that's capacity. I called today to schedule the MRI, and they said "How about tomorrow?"

My response: "O_O Uhh... okay..."

Yeah. Tomorrow. Saturday. I guess the hospital is huge enough to warrant it.

The neuro doc seems to think these are persistent migraines, and prescribed a medicine designed to prevent them. I find this to be reasonable.

Just when I see a light at the end of the tunnel for block two, another scene needs a re-write. It's not a big scene right now, but it will be with this new idea. And the idea is just too good to pass up.

So the other day I managed to finish a 7,600 word re-write of an important section of block two. I showed it to one editor who specializes in technical matters and my wife. Between the two of them, there are more than 80 comments, and most (though not all) of those from my wife (who by FAR has a huge majority of them) will require thought and effort to resolve.

That's how hard my stuff gets ripped apart you guys X) But, that's also why it has whatever tiny amount of quality it does.

That's right, 800 people have hit that gold star clickity-thing. Mind = blown.

What's more, in the last update, Rites hit the top spot in the update section of the "Featured" box for two hours, and lasting far after that in lower spots. That's also just insane.
