I suppose I should say something here. Derpy/Ditzy is my favorite pony, and she has been sanitized for our "protection". Still, she remains in our hearts, our stories, and the Easter Eggs. She's still a paper bag princess, a well spelunker, and a snowglobe floaty. Depending on the story, she's still a loving mother, a loyal friend, and/or a planeswalker. So mourn not for our strabismal sweetheart. Remember her moment of glory, keep calm, and write on.

As you may have already inferred, Elementals of Harmony is nearing its conclusion. However, I have some stories I'd still like to tell about the Equestria that has a derp-eyed pegasus planeswalker. I'm not sure if I should keep adding to the existing story with these addenda or if I should make a new one. Opinions? Oh, if you're in favor of my making a new story, feel free to suggest a title for the collection.

I've decided to throw my two cents into the matter of yesterday's episode for the sake of anyone who might care. I think I can say that for those of us in the "Ditzy Doo" school of Derpfiction (which is apparently a thing), this is the best.

Chapter 11 of Elements is trudging along. I'd say I'm about 65% done. In the meantime, you can satisfy your jones for ridiculous pony crossovers with the work of a real life friend of mine. I highly recommend it for those familiar with the Warhammer 40,000 franchise, and don't for those who aren't. It's called Cutie Marks of Chaos. There's only one chapter so far, but it's definitely worth a look.

Like many of you, I watched the new episode of Friendship is Magic this weekend. Again, like many of you, I noticed Dinky Doo competing in the climactic race. There are probably those of you who are wondering how this will impact Elements of Harmony. Well, this is not the first time the canon of a show has shifted in a direction that might contradict an in-progress fanfiction of mine, so I'm going to react now exactly as I did then:

Added a bit in the last section of Elementals of Harmony, chapter 7, addressing an internal continuity error. Good news for Trixie fans, bad news for people who like to believe that humans are completely unknown to Equestria.

Work on the seventh chapter of Elements of Harmony, tentatively titled "First In, Last Out", has begun. When it will end is, at this juncture, anyone's guess. :P
