Cosplay and Ice Buckets oh my! · 12:30am Sep 4th, 2014
So, as promised here are the cosplay photos of the Maud Pie cosplay I did at Bronycon and the ice bucket challenge video.

Just a short post saying I've been challenged in the ALS thing and may actually do it. So this is the formal "If anyone is uncomfortable participating say something and I won't challenge you." Everyone else is a target.
Also the contest results will be going up on Monday and I'm going to do a blog post with my personal top ten.
See ya then folks!
Hey folks! I'm heading off to my cottage in the wilds of Ontario and will likely be off the internet fo the full week or so. I may have net access on occassion but personally I go up to get away from tech so no promises. If you really must read me I recommend either smoke signals or tying a letter to a homing beaver.
As always, my editing blog is here
So the always amazing Twilight Snarkle made a blog post encouraging people to comment. You can find his eloquent words and advocacy here. He and his commenters make some good points for commenting and many agree or state they already do this.
So, I just got to post something on EQD for the first time ever (And only slightly screwed up ^^;)
And in honour of that my friend Dave wrote me a little story.
One of Sethisto's screens went dark. He stared at it with contempt. "What's wrong with you, screen?! You're one of the Trixie screens, you're the most important!"
So I don't tend to do this but Golden Vision has just written a really amazing blog post that follows one of my core beliefs.
Namely, don't comment when angry or do it to hurt.
You can find it here
I'm sure we can all be guilty of being nastier than we like to think of ourselves as but there's a point where it goes beyond that into pure cruelty.
Cuz like Obs said, peer pressure is a harsh mistress.
So I was a latecomer to even considering going to Bronycon, but as more and more blogs came out, and more and more people waxed rhapsodically about how much fun it was, my resolve began weakening. When Alexstrazsa said I could even be on a panel and go for free I was sunk.
I'm really racking up editing jobs. I got to pre-read the start of Ob's EQD contest entry (Hint: It's hilarious) and Pav_Fiera has kindly agreed to allow me to pre-read for his next fic too.
I swear I don't know how any of that happened...To be fair I'm also not sure how I managed to convince JediMasterEd to publish the snippets he writes and to write a Red Green Pony fic. (For everyone who is unaware The Red Green Show was a really funny Canadian comedy show with some great talents.)
So, met up with the UW Bronies and then we found another handful of bronies and we're well on the way to packing a large chunk of the bus with bronies. So much so that the border guys took one look at us, said "Baltimore?" and waved us through which was rather neat.
thank goodness I can sleep in transit.
Hey folks! At the excellent conbravo with a couple pals. Trying to do my best not to fangirl at seeing Jontron wandering around the halls. Thank goodness for autograph sessions.
Anyways if anyone's around and wants to say hi I'm farily easy to spot. Look for the yellow my little Epona tee and the black and white floppy bunny ears.
I'll try to stop drooling over cosplayers and actually take photos but no promises,
