Random Pony Musings: Hoofprints · 4:10am Nov 4th, 2014
This is something that's been bouncing around my head as of late. Can you, in fact, dust for pony hoofprints in the same way one could dust for human fingerprints?
Just a simple pegasister who likes world building.

Now has their own tee-shirt!
Seriously, I couldn't stop snickering when I found this picture.
Say...

Looks like it's time for another This Week in Gods post!
The Primal Gods
The Primals are so named for being the eldest of the gods, arising in the era of chaos before even the lands were formed or the stars were hung in the sky. They are among the most powerful beings in existence, easily more powerful than any of the deities that would come after them. With such power, it is perhaps the best that there are only two.
Last week on Schlocktober, the films I talked about, while not exactly common names in movies, are still probably somewhat known to anyone who's familiar with science fiction. Them! was a downright hit in its day, after all. This week however, I'm going obscure....really, really obscure. Attack of the Super Monsters and Return of the Dinosaurs. If you've ever heard of, or watched these two pieces of cheese....well, then congratulations on being as strange as I am.
There was a time, far before this current age of ponies, in the long long ago, that I wanted to be a web cartoonist.
The giant mutated insect running amok is one of those stables of schlocky B-grade science fiction movies. Spiders remain one of the more poplar choices here, presumably because they are the best at scaring the absolute bejeezus out of people. But for my money, the insect de jure for a movies like this is the ant, because of one movie.
Welcome to October everyone!
While some people care for summer, and others for winter, I am much more of a fall person. The depths of autumn with its cool winds and the swoosh of leaves on the ground. Love it, love it, love it! You know what I also love? Bad movies! Or at least a specific kind of bad movie. I grew up on the kind of schlocky, bad acting, bad special effects B-Grade monster movies that were the staple of Mystery Science Theater 3000 and the like.
Last night, the FOX network began showing its quasi Batman origin series, Gotham.
Well, I feel that I once again owe my followers an apology for kind of going completely silent over the last week, not responding to comments on my stories or some of the PM's I've gotten. I've been in kind of a dark place these last four days, feeling distinctly down about myself, and my work. Usually I've been able to bounce around my various fics and write them well, but over this weekend its felt like the creative gears have just been grinding against each other, producing sound and fury
Figured that I'd go ahead and just give my followers a heads up that the first chapter of this story is up and readable, as it didn't pass moderation until about 2AM last night. You know, that hour when presumably sane people are asleep, rather than engaging in Sunkist fueled hammerings on the keyboard to produce more fiction like me.
