Does anyone have any experience with a good pony-related AI art generator? I'd love to use some instead of the ponytown character generator I've been using last few times.
Of course, it would be best to commish an actual pony artist, but books aren't getting that until can pull their own weight.
I'll be brief about this one and not avoid spoilers, because there's nothing to avoid spoilers about. It's a slice of life piece with nothing much to show story-wise for the 45m runtime. It's kinda equivalent to Rainbow Roadtrip but with en even flatter plot and no Kerfuffle. A trip, forced problems and conflict.
Still, it's worth a watch, because TLDR is - what was bad before is still bad, what was good is still good.
So, here goes the positives and negatives:
So I pretty much snorted all 8 episodes now on Netflix, and I'm genuinely... annoyed.
In the name of rest and recovery, I made some time in lieu of exercise and watched Make Your Mark yesterday. So, just like with G5 movie, here goes my incredibly irrelevant opinion on it:
NON-SPOILERS:
1) Overall: It's kinda what the movie should have been - a two-parter opening series episode. It sets up future problems reasonably well (aside from the potential "villain", but about that later), and in terms of direct plot I think it's actually quite a lot better than the movie.
Pony town has been immensely helpful this time, since I had no inspiration regarding my own pixel style. So, I guess, we're starting at some point this week again. I wanted this to be a self-contained sequel, but so far it's proving absolutely impossible because... well, it'll be clear quickly enough.
I guess now's not a good time to have one half of my extended family in a warzone. Granted, I don't live there and I only met them a few times in my life, but yesterday I got a bit of... reporting from near Odessa. Not good, not good.
So, I'm going to be writing more drones. That's the only thing I can do. We all could use a bit of happy or cuddly right now. I'll drop the first chapter as soon as I figure out how to make some relevant cover art.
Okay, so I just finished G5 movie and it's... tough to evaluate. First things first - I won't be spoiling the plot, because there already is pretty much none. If you watched the trailer, you will know how this goes. I'll start with my overall feeling about the movie, then point out the bad just to get it out of the way, and finally get to the good part which I think makes the whole thing worthwhile.
I'm working on the next chapter of TE. This one brings us back to the future and to the changeling survivors inside the dreamscape.
387 is about to share a little bit of his past while the group is preparing for their next step and my question is:
Is there something specific about changeling history you'd like to know? A specific queen/era/anything, really.
