Pinkie messing with the author, and telling him how to his job, and just plain old annoying him half to death is what Pinkie does here. So much to the point that it doesn't end very well. For the Author, that is. And this is just a random thought out of my head!

Discord watches as reality is broken and everything goes wrong. He hates the chaos everywhere though. But it's up to him to fix it. Making sense got thrown out the window, so for Discord, he just wants to find a sane spot to hide in for a while.
