Part 2: It's a Date

After what had just happened, Dash stood there, staring to where that mysterious stallion (as she thought he/she was) flew off. She stood thre for at least three minutes, analyzing what had just happened. When she finally moved, she only moved to the edge of the cloud, to see if she could follow that mysterious stallion, only to find that there was no trace of him.

With a face of frustration, and with a slight blush appearing right in the middle of her face, she headed toward her home and remembered what Rarity had told her a long time a go: "In a time of stress, take a bath for succes." She then decided to take a long relaxing shower, even if it wasn't 20% more cooler.

She rarely filed the tub as full as it could possibly get, but she really needed to relax and analyze. Before putting herself in the tub, she added some bubbles, lighted some candles and put them around the tub, and finally, she turned off the bathroom light before soaking herself entirely in the bubble filled tub.

"You know what Dash," murmured Dash to herself, "I think that this is at least 10% more cooler... yeah... I hope this isn't tu Fru-fru."

Apparently, Dash had one poster of The Wonderbolts in each room. In this room, the poster was right in front of the tub, and Dash appeared to be having a staredown with the poster. With only her snout and eyes out of the water, still with the slight blush she had on her face, growing a deeper pinkish-red as she remembered what Spitfire had said earlier:

"Oh...my...gosh... Could he really be? No! He could'nt! Or... Could he?!?!?!?!"

"Yes sweetie, he is"

"Spitfire?"

"Mhjm."

"Umm, is he really...?"

"Yes" *facehoof* "He is"

"Really!?!?!?!?"

"Yes, yes, yes!!!!!!!!!! That is why he has a blush in his face! That is why my ear is twitching! And that is why i'm here right now!"

"Oh Spitfire, I'm sorry, I did'nt know you felt that way about..."

"NO,no oh Heavens no. I'm not the romantic type. I just saw you heading towards here and I thought I should let you know, and hehe, besides that, I just wanted to wish you good luck."

"It was Soarin!!!!!!!" said Rainbow Dash as she jumped right out of the tub, turning of every single candle except one, which was literally right under the poster, creating an enourmos shadow making the poster look dark and mysterious.

"Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygoshohmygoshohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh... OH MY GOSH!!!!" she said as she quickly ran right in front of the poster, with only the candle separating her from it before she had crashed right into it. "It was you..." she said with quite the grin. "IT WAS YOU!!!!!! I can't believe it, this is actually happening... TO ME?!?!?!?!?! But wait...what am I going to do?" she said as she stepped back from the poster and started passing up and down the room with a worried look on her face. "I don't know where he lives, I don't know when he'll come back, I don't even know how he feels for me."

"Think Soarin, think." said Soarin as he landed on his cloud. "Oh by Celestia's Mane, I can't think like this. I need some PROFESSIONAL HELP."

Soarin then entered his house and headed upstairs and straight to his room "Guess I wasted these ol' good suit for nothing" he said as he stored it in the closet and then looked at his alarm wich signaled it was 1:30 a.m. "I guess tomorrow is another day."

He then laid on his bed, closed slowly and quickly fell into a "deep" sleep.

*opens his eyes, looks at the watch and closes them* *opens his eyes, looks at the watch and closes them* *opens his eyes, looks at the watch: 1:31 a.m. and closes them*

"GHAH"

"GHAH" reapeted Rainbow Dash, "I can't think in a time like this...I need some PROFESSIONAL HELP... and I know just the unicorn that can help me... Rarity."

We find ourselves in front of The Boutique early the next morning, so early in fact that the sun hasn't even been raised.

*knock knock*

"Five more minutes Sweetie Bell" said Rarity more asleep than awake.

*knock knock knock*

"Quit it Sweetie Bell, I need my beauty sleep"

*knock knock knock knock knock knock knock knock knock knock knock knock*

"QUIT IT!!!!!!!!!!"

...

"Finally"

...

*BLAM*

"What in Celestia's Mane is going on here!?!?!?!" she said as she jumped out of the bed

"Ugh!! That was NOT some of my best landings."

*gasp* "Rainbow Dash!!!! Don't you know that it's rude to crash into somepony's room at 3:30 in the morning?!?!?!?!"

"Rarity!!!!!" said Rainbow dash as she knocked Rarity into the floor "You've got to help me, this is an e-mer-mer-mi" said Rainbow Dash but was quickly interrupted by Rarity's hoof.

"If it's realy an emergency, then I'm all ears, but if it's not... you'll see" said Rarity as she put her hoof out of Dash's mouth.

"Al right" said Dash as she helped Rarity stand on her hoofs "It all started when..."

...

...

*gasp* "Then why din't you wake me up earlier, if thats the case then let Rarity guide you for the romance you seek. First off, let's hoofle him up So we can know every single detail about him."

"But I-" she was interrupted by Rarity's hoof again "Don't you dare neglet anything I'll do... you go ahead down staris and start the computer while i take these curlurs of me."

With a nod from Rainbow Dash, Rarity took her hoof from Rainbow Dash's mouth and she quickly went downstaairs without saying another word. Rarity then went over to her mirror and used her magic to remove her curlurs and to prepare herself with some blush here and there, she applyed mascara and then brushed her mane, for this was gonna be one ling day.

"I can't believe this is finally happening to rainbow Dash, and with a Wonderblt, oh what a joy!!!!!!!!!" she then quicly went downstairs to her computer and typed in Soarin's name "What we need to do first now is look up where he lives, his favorite color, what he likes in a mare..."

"Great... Well, at least I can sleep for the next three hours or so..." thought Dash as she slowly closed her eyes and fell into a deep slep.

...

"Rainbow Dash!!! What in Celestia's Mane were you doing? sleeping while I 'gave' you a complete session oon how to get boys 101... I simply cannot believe this..."

"You were speaking to many Fru-fru stuff and I just thought I should get some shut eye while you thought of my whole dating plan!!!!"

"Darling, darling, darling, darling... darling. I cannot plan you're whole relationship plan, I can only give you the facts on how you can hit on him and all of that stuff. The whole relationship is based on how the couple wants to move forward and it's based on their personalities to match them."

"OK, OK, give me a quick lesson on what you already 'told me'."

"This is going to be harder than I thought."

"I really should write a book on how to hook up two first timers". *giggle*

*yawn* "OK, it's umm, (looks at clock) 7:00 a.m. and I've got no idea of what I should do know. Well, I should at least get ready for the day."

As he drowsily got out of his bed, he went straight to the bathroom, wich was to the left of his bed, and he brushed his teeth, flossed, mouthwashed and combed his hair. He then went downstairs, and since he was in no mood of coocking, he just prepared himself a bowl hoof flakes, added some milk and ate it in his living room while watching mare flicks yo at least try to get familiar with a mare's emotions.

After finishing his breakfast, he cleaned the dish and headed straight outside. As he closed and locked his front door, he kept thinking that he had forgotten to do something "Oh well, I'll remember later."

Soarin headed straight to ponyville to try to find the PROFESSIONAL HELP he needed.

"Now remember Rainbow dear, try not to be to forward on your first actuall conversation, and also remember to..."

"To keep some personal stuff to myself so he can."

"So you really were listening" *giggle* As Rarity said this, there was a slight blush running across Rainbow's face.

"Yeah yeah. So, when do you think..."

"Oh my... "

"What?"

"Look, there he is!!!!!"

They were right next to Sugarcube Corner when rarity said this, Rainbow's eyes then gazed upon his lightning with wings cutie-mark and started to try and hide behind Rarity.

"Where should I go, ummm, maybe I can go to a filly-fooler bar and try to..." he could'nt finish his sentence, for he saw what appeared to be two mares were fighting over something "Why would they be pushing each oth-..." As he took a closer look, he noticed that one of the mares was a white unicorn with purple eyes while the other was a blue pegasus with deep pink eyes. It's HER!!!!!!!!! OK, OK, I should probably go talk to her."

While he started to walk over to were the mares were, there started to appear a blush in his face, and he then started to feel a sudden chill and he started to twich all over his body "It's only the nerves, its only the nerves..."

"Rarity!!!!!! Stop pushing me!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Shush dear, here he is" as she said this, she stopped pushing Rainbow when they were right in fornt of Sugarcube Corner.

Face to face, they did'nt know what to say, so Soarin broke the ice.

"We ha-have'nt p-p-properly introduced our-ourselves. My name is Soarin."

"My name is Rainbow Dash."

...

"So, it's still pretty early, wanna go get some real breakfats" he said as he offered his hoof.

"... Yes" she said as she offered her hoof.

Since ponie can't walk hoof to hoof, Dash just slightly leaned over Soarin a little bit, when suddenly, right in font of them, and out of nowhere:

"SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Becouse of this surprise, Soarin started to run towards the nearest bathroom.

"That's weird, I wonder where he went" said Pinkie Pie as she stood next to Rainbow. Rainbow then, feeling guilty trotted over to the front door of the bathroom.

In the bathroom.

"Awwww" he said "I did'nt go to the bathroom in the morning"

As he exited the bathroom, Rainbow was right in front of him, this caused Soarin to blush.

"So, about our breakfast, do you still wanna go?"

*giggle* "Yes"

"It's a date."

With this, Dash blushed, and they headed both towards their Date.

This story could use a little bit of help in the spelling department. :P I'd be happy to point them out, but on a quick read through or two you'll probably see them. Also, when you contract could and not it becomes 'couldn't', the apostrophe goes between the n and the t. Otherwise, keep it up. Awkward SoarinxDash is funny and kind of cute.

P.S. You really don't need more than one exclamation point and three should be enough for any statement. Pretty much the same is true of ?! of which there really doesn't need to be more than one.

Heh, don't worry about it too much, just keep an eye on it when you write. You do know that spelling and grammar are different are right?

Just to be confusing: (or if this is useful to know)
Going by some people on the internet I should call some of them typographical errors, or a typo as they are sometimes called. Their reasoning is that while the word is not correctly typed out, the error is not in spelling but rather in not typing the letter you really meant to be there.

So, typing 'succes' instead of 'success' (which presumably you intended) would be a typographical error. Whereas if you typed 'gaurd' (an incorrect spelling) intentionally, instead of guard (which is the correct spelling) it would be a spelling error. Either way, I'm going to stick with calling it a spelling error, because for one I can't be one hundred percent sure of what someone intended. In any case, that what most people would call it.

Google translate is wonderful Glad to hear it. Yeah, well. I fear that I may lack the creativity or the drive. It's much easier to see the possibilities for someone else's story. The moment I try to write my own I start worrying about all kinds of things that aren't my problem when I am not the author.
