Deciding to read the story from the beginning to this chapter. The plot of the story has a rather strange feel to it, the character development and their interactions are given the most time, which is good, but it kind of waters down the plot of the story, making it vague, other than they move on.
In this form, many more chapters can be written about them going somewhere and solving their own problems or others’. Of course, I understand the expression “A samurai has no goal, only a path,” but here it is like the meaning of the story.
I’m not scolding the author and the story itself; if I wasn’t interested, I wouldn’t read it and certainly not write something in the comments.
In any case, I'm looking forward to the continuation of the story.

Well, I was wondering if someone would give a comment about this because yes, I totally agree with you.
If we look at normal adventure stories, there always is this “main quest” the characters have to follow. As best example is Lord of the Rings where they have to reach Mordor to destroy the ring. Two Wings does not have such. Like you said, in many chapters they do not even follow any plot.
Now why is that? First reason is, like you noticed, I put more effort on the characters. I guess it is more of a slice of life story than an adventure. The characters grow while they overcome their personal problems.
And second reason, with is also based on the first, I wanted to make to story truer to life. Because let’s be honest, many of us do not go on a big journey to safe the world in a big epic battle. Our adventure is more like daily problems who we have to overcome. And so is it here. It has focus on the characters and their life with their daily, but still little, plots. They might not save the wasteland, but they still have a story to tell.
So, what I try to say is: If you look for an adventure story, that follows a big and epic plot, Two Wings is not such. But if you look for a more slice of life story that gives focus on the characters while they have their personal adventure, this one might be the one for you.
I can not (and also don’t want to) change the story to add a plot but that doesn’t mean your input has less value for me. I appreciate your review, I enjoyed to give this information but I am also happy that you, nonetheless, like the story.
