I got the impression that any child impregnated in Cadance will be an alicorn. Her pregnancies besides Flurry Heart were embryos transferred from other ponies, if I understood correctly.

Cadance’s foals are conceived by simple impregnation from her stallions. Personally, I think alicorns are supposed to have regular foals, but Flurry Heart is a magical anomaly.

i hope in the next few chapters Pound re-impregnates Rose Glade, then impregnates Flurry Heart and a final chapter he impregnates his own sister. Then an epilouge where we see Pound doing fatherly duties with his possible 4 children and loving it

So far, my only regret is that I took such a long time to finally get around to reading this. I love how it’s both tender and quite casual! Especially, the casual impregnation! A few typos here and there, but not bad enough to ruin the story.
