I mean...honestly a limbless zombie sounds fyaying hilarious.

LMAO! Now that you mention it... (Reminds me of a scene from Return of the Living Dead if you've seen that, with the limbless strapped down female zombie. Actually, Fleur's death was partially inspired by what happened to Captain Rhodes in Day of the Dead, come to think of it!

I've seen very few live action movies tbh. Animation is much easier to keep track of. God forbid I want to watch an action movie especially. It's a nightmare of "Wait, What?"

Ah, I'm mostly an animation guy in general, but I do love me some horror and exploitation movies!

I LOVE horror shit, though mainly in games. The medium is just better for most of it imo, what with the mandatory dumb decisions made by most horror protags. I could talk about my theories why for an hour.
Ever heard of felidae? It's an animated murder mystery with cats, and it traumatized many a stupid person's kid. The opening music barely fades out and there's a dead body onscreen

I enjoy horror games too, although not so much survival horror as I've always sucked at them!
I've heard of Felidae but haven't watched it. I'll put it on my ever growing backlog. I wish adult animation (Outside of anime or comedies) was more common.

Amen. I crave disturbing shit like some kind of mutant vampire, and there's so much possibility inherent in the medium.
I think the reason dumb ideas work in a horror game is because you literally pay to do the thing no sane person would do. Seeing a character who has the option to haul ass and doesn't is just frustrating, but a player signed an agreement, allowing both the benefits of participation and a degree of separation from the plotholes.
Can you tell I love psychology?
