8508958 Yea, sorry. It's something I decided to do after I started talking to family and some of my friends about my other works. I don't think they'd like to read this kind of story at all, so I made an account specifically for my NSFW works
8509161 Though you could have just ask one of the site's modifiers to simply transfer the story into your new smut account so you didn't have to lose those likes, comments, and people who had it in there library. Just saying.
8523699 If you like it, you might want to check out my stories. This one is a collaboration between me and Moonshade / Kix, with her writing Ruby and a few other characters further down the line, and me writing Birgir (my OC) and Fiera (originally Aceofspades69's OC, used with his permission), and us working together on everything else.
The stories on my own account are done by me alone, but they and this one take place in the same FoE continuity (which is a bit different from non_creepy_nickname's FoE "canon" and more heavily relies what on Schorl Tourmaline established in her FoE stories - which you should check out as well if you haven't done already, by the way). From what we've planned right now, this story and my Freeville Chronicles will eventually intersect, with Eadgil from my story running into Birgir and Ruby when he visits Canterlot again.
Usually I get angry a lot at certain points of a Fall of Equestria story. Not so much here.
Birgir's and Ruby's relationship pretty much starts as a broken one simply due to the overall situation, but at least they're trying to fix it, because they actually do care for each other. They just both have no idea how to actually accomplish that at this point. Birgir is more progressive than most caribou, but he's still a good bit more determined by his upbringing and cultural heritage than e.g. Baldr or Eadgil from my other FoE story, Freeville Chronicles, and that does make the situation more difficult - and Ruby's position doesn't give her much control over the situation (although I'm sure she'll try her best to use the little bit of influence she has), and it could be argued that she suffers from something similar to Stockholm syndrome. At the current point, the best thing they can do is try their best to not make it worse.
One thing that pisses me off to no end about many Fall of Equestria stories is that the characters aren't really characters. For example, take Vestri from Twipet's story Sun's Setting. What exactly is it that sets him apart from other caribou? The answer is: the only thing that sets him apart is the fact that he's the king's right-hand man, and that's not even a character trait. He shares the exact same views and habits as any other caribou and could essentially be replaced by anyone else with no difference to the story. He's little more than a cock on legs when it comes down to it. Now I'm not saying that all my characters are perfectly fleshed out and unique, e.g. Birgir and Eadgil from my other FoE story are arguably similar characters (Aceofspades69 has outright confused them with each other a few days ago), but I see this similarity as an unfortunate mistake that I'll eventually have to remedy at some point (particularly because these two characters will eventually run into each other). I at least try to write my characters in a way that sets them apart. You can't do that when you just take the stereotype of "the usual caribou", and then slap a name tag on him.
I'm not going to say much about Ruby here, since she's Moonshade's character.
That said, we don't really have plans to include foxes in this story. I know there are foxes in FoE (although only in Twipet's stories so far), but the concept is underdeveloped. To be honest, not sure about Moonshade44, but I don't really know what to do with them. If you want to participate in fleshing them out, you might take a look at the Fall of Equestria Redux group, particularly the Species thread and the Google Docs & FAQ thread. Hope to see you there.
It's a good kind of rant. I admit, my comment was sort of... bland? Jaded? I don't know, was probably tired at the time, so I usually keep what I say limited then. But it did give me new insight, new things to think about. It's sort of difficult for me to pin down ideas and supporting evidence to back up my arguments and such, so my way of judging things is based off of paying attention to details, remember things I've seen/heard/read and use the wisdom from that stuff (which I have a complicated explanation for to try and help justify it) to form a general feeling about a particular argument, then forget the evidence soon after. :P It's easier for me to retain feelings about something than it is to remember lots of details to support my argument, as those details come and go whenever they want, usually coming back to me shortly or long after I've tried to justify myself.
" He pauses again for a second. “Huh. That’s odd. I have no trouble forming Herrin in my mind, but as soon as I try to form the other variant, I feel a sudden rush of panic.” "
Foreshadowing. This is some conspiracy shit right here.
Wait, the hell's going on here? The original was removed? This was uploaded? And... from what looks like a different account?

That makes sense. No need to disturb your loved ones with this kind of stuff.

Oh, I actually didn't know they could do that
8509888
Well they can, they help me move a story that I was collaborating with an author who didn't feel like writing anymore to someone else.

Ok, did not know that
good job, good story

We're working on it. Unfortunately we have been busy with other projects, work and being sick
