Farewell Sun Part 2

" Fluttershy was like me, but different. I gave up, and she...... " A bang sound was heard, Thunderlane snapped out of his thoughts back to reality. Fluttershy was breathing heavily, blood running down her face as tears fell to the ground from teary eyes. " I can't possibly..... give up......" Fluttershy gave a weak smile as she said. " Because.....I love him ! " Thunderlane was speechless all he could do was watch as he looked in her cyan eyes filled with tears.

" So....the feeling, like being on fire........ " Thunderlane couldn't do anything to stop her, and he know that. Thunderlane took the key and unlocked Fluttershy's cel, opening the door for her. " I can't stand to see you hurt yourself anymore. " Thunderlane avoided Fluttershy's gaze. " I'll treat your wounds. " As he turned around, Fluttershy got her voice back.

" Thunderlane. i'm going. " Walking out the cel.

Thunderlane never turned his back as he said. " I can't let you go like that. " Grabbing a piece of gauze and rapping it around Fluttershy's head to cover up the wound. Thunderlane grabbed the key he had and placed it around Fluttershy's neck. " Go out the back. That key will work if you use it from the inside. " Fluttershy wanted to say something, but Thunderlane turned his back to her again. " Go. It's too hard for me to look at you right now. "

Fluttershy turned to head out, but before she leaved she said. " Thank you, Thunderlane. " Running down the staircase of the tower as she opened the back door of the bottom of the tower. Fluttershy went through the back door that leaded out in the forest next to the castle. Fluttershy looked around her seeing Rainbow dash flying towards her in the rain.

" Fluttershy ! "

" Rainbow dash ! " Fluttershy ran towards her sister.

" I can't believe you got out. " Rainbow dash said hugging her sister. Rainbow dash looked closely and saw that Fluttershy was completely covered in bruises and her head rapped up in a gauze. " How did you get hurt ? "

" I'm fine. How's Discord ? Did the hypnotism....." Fluttershy looked with worried eyes at Rainbow, but before she could continue Rainbow said.

" It failed. " Fluttershy took the time to breath but Rainbow know that the hard part was coming next. " But.... he had a fight with Grandma....." Making Fluttershy gasp. Rainbow dash explained what happened with Discord and Queen Amore but the news wasn't good as Fluttershy flew down to the lake through the woods in the rain as fast as she could with Rainbow dash close behind. Rainbow dash told her that Discord tried to look for the key that Queen Amore threw into the lake, but he drowned after a big wave appeared. Twilight and Rarity scoped him out of the water, but he didn't breath at all after that.

" When did you become this important to me ? "

Fluttershy made it to the pier as she saw Discord's lifeless body on the pier surrounded by her sisters.

" I thought that i was singing for you. "

Queen Amore was surprised seeing Fluttershy out of the Black lotus tower. Everypony backed away as Fluttershy ran towards Discord, as she touched his face it felt like ice and the worst came up to her.

" But maybe I was wrong. "

But Fluttershy wasn't ready to face reality and began to do CPR on Discord. Pushing her weight on her as she tried to make Discord's heart beat again, By every push a tear dropped from Fluttershy's eyes, she whipped the tears from her eyes she know she couldn't cry now.

" You're the one.......Who let me sing. If i lose you, I won't be able to sing anything anymore."

Everypony looked with worried faces as Fluttershy grabbed his face and gave mouth to mouth, blowing as much air into his longs as possible. As she gave mouth to mouth her tears started to fall again.

" i never knew that a feeling like this could exist in this world. That I had such an intense side to me. "

Fluttershy kept trying, but Discord's heart didn't beat after the CPR she gave him, she couldn't believe it that he was gone and yelled out his name in frustration and sadness, making a fist of her hoof and slammed it down on his chest. " DISCORD ! " After that slam in the chest Discord coughs out a mouth full of water making every pony sign in relieve.

" He came to ! " Rainbow dash said. After he took a time to breathe he slowly opened his eyes and asked.

" What ? " He finally was the crying face of Fluttershy sitting besides him. " Fluttershy, have you...... been crying ? If you're here, it means you worked things out by yourself again. " Discord couldn't help but laugh as he place a claw on his head. " I'm so lame. I was supposed to be the prince in shining armor instead of you. "

Fluttershy couldn't find to laughter in this. " Stop talking ! how can you make a joke like that now ! "

" Are you there, old hag ? " Discord said as he placed his claw on Fluttershy's cheek. " This should shut you up, shouldn't it ? " Discord said as he showed everyone the key he had in his paw, surprising everyone even Queen Amore and Fluttershy. " I win. "

Queen amore know she had lost to her own game and gave a big sigh as she said. " Fool. I've had enough of this. " Queen amore said as she leaved the pier.

After a good nights rest Discord was already up on his feet, but Fluttershy insisted that he would stay in bed. Discord didn't mind the attention from Fluttershy, but he was sick of being in bed all day long. In the afternoon Fluttershy's sisters came to visit Discord to how his condition was after the drowning incident.

" I'm sorry ! We did something really awful to you. " Twilight said bowing her head as a sign of apology as Rarity did it too.

" You don't have anything to apologize for. " Discord said as much as he wanted to see them bow before him, it wasn't right to have a grudge on them, they are his family after all.

Twilight was surprised that Discord wasn't angry with them. " But we knew what Grandma was planning for a while. We knew, but we just sat back and watched., so..... " Twilight said.

Fluttershy looked at the big oak tree seeing Discord lying on his back on one of the branches. " Discord ! " Fluttershy walked closer to the oak tree to get a better view of Discord.

" Eat up. They're surprisingly really good. " Discord said sitting up straight on his branch.

" Hey. Don't you know the condition of your own body ? Fancy pants been looking for you like a madpony.

" Sleeping all day without any warmth from a certain mare would be a waste. " Discord saw a little blush on the little pegasus mare below him. " We'll only be here a few more days, after all. Fluttershy calmed a little down but the blush on her face was clearly to see. " Because you touched me out of nowhere ! " Fluttershy said.

Discord decided to switch things around. " Hey ! You're the one who kissed me while I was unconscious out of nowhere ! "

" That was mouth-to-mouth resuscitation ! " The blush on Fluttershy grow bigger by the minute. " Wh-Why would i do something like that ? "

Discord leaned a bit forward so that his forehead touched Fluttershy's. " Well, it's fine. " Fluttershy could see right in his red eyes and Discord in her eyes. " Ma-je-sty !! " Discord and Fluttershy looked down, seeing Fancy pants standing under the oak tree. " And princess Fluttershy, too ! is this really the time to be flirting ? " Are you the Rain King ? Would you accompany this old mare somewhere ? " The strange mare said. Before Discord could say something he found himself in a bathtub with stallions cleaning his body, his arms, his chest, his head and even his horns, After the awkward bath he got changed in a black and white pajama's, he found himself in the dressing room of the castle. a big sofa was standing in the middle of the room and a view decorations that every dressing room gotta need.

Discord couldn't believe that he was cleaned and dresses as a play doll only for this strange mares pleasure. " WH-What is all this ? " Discord said getting irritated by the strange mare by the second. " You suddenly kidnap me and put me in the bath...... "

Buy the strange mare didn't listen. " My, oh, my ! Silky hair fresh out of the bath ! " The strange mare said. Fancy pants who was in the room to check if everything was going smoothly with the dress fitting of Rarity's design. " Princess Fluttershy ! Please, do not move around so much. Did you forget how hard Rarity worked to dress you like that ? "

Discord on the other hoof was enjoying the juicy story's of Fluttershy's embarrassing past event. Fancy pants was drunk singing with the musicians while holding onto a bottle of whatever that was that made him drunk. Fluttershy and Discord were sitting at the end of the room in two big chairs with a big banner hanging above them with Married Couple on it. Fluttershy had a great time laughing with her sisters and seeing Discord having a good time too. " Now that we've got the feast in full swing, why don't we hear a few words from the bridegroom ? " One of the quests said.

Fluttershy took a deep sigh and face hoofed herself as she was embarrassed. " Why did you have to tell..... " Fluttershy said under her breath, But soon saw that Discord stood up from his chair and made the crowed silent as he spoke.

" The only pony i ever thought of as family was myself. To me, most ponies related bt blood were to be hated and resented. That's why i don't understand what true " family " is like. Even right now, to be honest, i feel a little out of place. "

Rainbow dash couldn't get quite and asked " You don't like it ? "

Things cooled down after a few more drinks, Discord only drank chocolate milk and Fluttershy wasn't a drinker so she only had cider or tea, mostly tea. Discord enjoyed the party, he could have spiced thing up with his chaos magic but he didn't want to ruin the night with a cotton candy clouds raining chocolate milk down on the quest and on his beautiful wife but if it were to happen she would be the tastiest treat in the whole wide world. Discord chuckled at his own thoughts off Fluttershy covered in chocolate milk, but when he turned to her, her face expression was sad for some reason as she looked at the crowed. " Fluttershy ? Dear, what's wrong ? "

Fluttershy was snapped out off her thoughts when she heard Discord speaking to her. " oh, nothing. I was just thinking, Thunderlane and Grandma didn't come after all. " Fluttershy let's out a little sigh, but Discord could still hear it. " But i guess that's how it goes. " Discord could only watch as the night went by and the quested leaved for a good night rest after the party.

The next morning Thunderlane was sitting at the cliff in the mountains where Fluttershy always went to when she was sad, it had a beautiful view of the waterfall next to the cliff where Thunderlane sat, looking as the sun rises from the horizon. Thunderlane letted out a deep sigh as he looked next to him laying on the dirt where peaces to be found. " What am i picking all these for ? " Thunderlane grabbed one and ate it. " Fluttershy doesn't need them anymore. " After eating the peace Thunderlane decided to go home there was nothing for him here anyways.

" Hey, sourpuss. " A voice called out to Thunderlane from behind him in the bushes. Thunderlane looked behind him seeing Discord in a dark blue blouse with matching pants and boots, holding two bushes away from each other to go through them easier. " Why did you have to hide away this far into the mountains ? " Thunderlane asked himself, how Discord know about this place ? " The girls told me you'd probably be here, but that was one rough road to et here. " Discord said answering Thundelane's unspoken question.

" You.... " Thunderlane said but was interrupted by Discord.

" It's not like I came here to interfere with your reverie, but Fluttershy is worried about you and the old hag. " Discord said walking past him, standing on the edge of the cliff to look at the view of the waterfall. " We're leaving in two days. "

" Are you telling me to go see her ? it seems a bit late. "

Thunderlane bit together his teeth as he backed kick the left over peaces that were laying on the ground next too him towards Discord's face, yelling. " What would you understand ? ! " Discord got a face full off peaces hitting him right on the nose and face. " I've been looking at Fluttershy all this time, but it's not because i expected her to look back at me ! "

Discord whipped his face off peace juice with his paw as he said with a irritated voice. " That's what makes me sick ! "

Thunderlane's anger only grew as he he heard that. " What ? ! "

Discord faced Thunderlane completely with his back towards the end of the cliff. " Yeah ! You heard me right ! I can't understand it ! Feeling so limp you just sit back and do nothing when the mare you loved for 10 years is right in front of you ! "

Thunderlane flew up to his hight and grabbed Discord by his blouse, yelling right in his face. " How dare you ! " By the sudden action of Thunderlane a piece of the cliff broke making Discord loose balance, if it weren't for Thunderlane grabbing him by the blouse, Discord would have for sure fall off the cliff. The only thing that was holding him was Thunderlane who was hovering in midair, Discord's feet were still touching ground but barely if thunder lane would let go now Discord fall off completely.

Discord didn't flinched at all as he was dangled back. " Well ? Just push me off right now, why don't you ? " Discord said as he saw fear forming in Thunderlane's eyes. " If you really wanted Fluttershy, you shouldn't have concocted the stupid plan ! " With each word Discord said, Thunderlane began to shake with fear and anger at the same time. " You should've done this from the start ! "

With a final decision Thunderlane screamed out. " DAMN IT ! " pulling Discord towards him away from the edge with all his might. " I can't do it. But listen to me, Rain king. If Fluttershy ever cries, i'm coming to kill you. "

Discord was on his knees as he climbed a little further from the cliff because of his body length. " Understood. " Discord said.

Thunderlane letted out a sigh of exhaustion. " I alway knew, somewhere in my heart.......Even when Fluttershy was beside me, she was like the sun. She was with me, but unreachable. Connected to something far away. That's why, maybe, i thought she would never give herself to anyone. "

" I'm shocked. To meet somepony who feels the same way i do. " Discord said chuckling. And so The Fluttershy Roundtable Discussion began. " That mare acts like she's really shy about everything, but her nature is to be a vixen. once she makes up her mind, she flies off to do it, regardless of what you think about it. "

" That's right, and she doesn't even realize it. " Thunderlane agreed.

" Yes ! Doesn't she know how uneasy it makes us ? " It was now that the two of them released that they were holding a normal discussion for the first time with out yelling too each other, but know they weren't talking at all silent took over. Discord coughs a bit to break the silent . " Well, anyway. Did you say everything you want to say to me ? "

" Don't be a fool ! A whole life time wouldn't be enough to say everything i want ! " Thunderlane said as Discord wasn't up for a nagging flying bird chirping all day in his ear.

" Like i have time for that ! "

Thunderlane stood up loud and proud. " But, well... I do feel somewhat refreshed. " A wind formed blowing gently on there fur. The gentle silent was broken by a recognizable voice.

" Discord ? " Fluttershy pushed herself though the bushes seeing Discord and surprisingly Thunderlane with each other. " Thuderlane ? " As was Thunderlane.

" Fluttershy ? What are you doing here ? "

" Well, Discord told me to come by after him....." Fluttershy said not really knowing what was going on.

Discord planned everything out too meet both of them here so let's not waste time here and move it, Discord thought as he kicked Thunderlane in the romp to push him closer too Fluttershy. " Wh-What are you doing ? " Thunderlane said.

" Stop hesitating, sourpuss. you've got a lot to say, don't you ? " Thunderlane was surprised to see that Discord was actually helping him. " so long. i'm going back to my nap. " Discord said walking back to the palace.

" Discord ? " Fluttershy said.

" Oh. Don't cheat on me, Fluttershy. " Discord said was he looked over his shoulder with a goofy grin on his face from seeing Fluttershy's face turn red.

" I-i would never. " Fluttershy said.

Discord walked though the thick bushes as he went away but his voice could still be heard. " Damn, this road is rough......" Leaving the two off them alone to talk things out.

" The day of our departure is arriving, with so many memories in my heart. "
