Book signing seems a little too soon.
Man, I can't wait two weeks. That's too long. I should probably write my Loose Cannon Story.

Well I hope you're ready, cos there's a new chapter coming in a few hours!
There's something both profoundly sweet and beautiful about the shampoo scene in this chapter.

It cannot be stated enough that when Wildfire went to Manehatten, she literally had nothing. Not "she just has a few things", she had absolutely nothing whatsoever.
And, she'd had nothing for five years.
Ponies had things like shampoo sets, and grooming kits, and whatever else you and I and everyone else takes for granted.
Wildfire had spent five years being conditioned to believe she was nothing more than an object to be used. Amethyst Glory ran her life. She was told what to do, what to say, what to think, how to act, and so on, and any disobedience was greeted with a severe beating and torture.
That's why, when she had the opportunity to spend her own money, to own her own shampoo set, it was like one of us buying a Ferrari or a Bugatti. That's why eating a simple caramel donut was like being treated to a £9000 piece of caviar.
