I dunno, doesn't feel so much like a prologue to me as it does a; as I've called such a narrative device since playing Fire Emblem Awakening for the first time, Premonition. The kind of thing that; in anime or cartoons, ends with the MC/Narrator saying something akin to 'I'm sure you're wondering how this all started', either accompanied by a flashback transition or a cut to either OP or commercial.

But more so the fact if it's already a well liked, popular show, game, movie, it always either tickled or annoyed me they'd waste precious time on something like that to draw the audience in, even tho people are already invested into the character and story they love already.
10559722 I've seen enough Star Trek, Doctor Who, NCIS, and other dramas to spot the setup for a flashback to get the heart of the matter--a commonly used trope that can still deliver a great story--but I'm truly glad this one isn't throwing the unnecessary tripe of telling us it's going to be a flashback story, as if the author expects the audience is too stupid to figure it out.

It's enough to get you to keep reading it and care enough to leave a comment. Never played Fable myself. Always heard good things about it.
