So, Pinkie really IS a nSPACE eldr........, never mind! It's not like most of us haven't figured THAT out.
Thanks for the new chapter
Don't you think it's unreasonable for them to attack him based off of him attacking wild animals considering THEY'VE fought back against wild animals who tried to kill them before? It's like you're ignoring parts of canon when it doesn't suit your purpose.
Nice chapter. The fight scenes were great.

precicely...
he should really ask Fluttershy whether or not she would of been fine with the manticores killing and eating him, since he's sapient....

That wasn't the reason they attacked him. They intended to fight him from the beginning. Killing the manticores is something Flutttershy would never tolerate, even from her friends. For the rest it just showed how dangerous he was and further cemented the idea that they need to capture him quickly.

True, that was one direction that I had thought about but I wanted Jack to come off as completely apathetic to the deaths of the manticores and I feel this was better. If the conversation wasn't interrupted by Twilight this may have been discussed

But he's a sentient creature, not some wild beast. That doesn't exactly make a lot of sense. And shouldn't they, after ZECORA, know not to just judge something based off appearances?

They weren't, to quote myself:
"I can understand what they were talking about now. It was like the shadows were coiling around me like some kind of second coat, that was alive. But it was more than that, just looking at the shadows just filled me with a feeling of wrongness. Like the shadows were some kind of primal fear. It wasn’t… bad, but it definitely would set anyone on edge."
I don't care how open minded you are, if you see something covered in moving shadows that make you afraid to even look at, your going to assume it's bad.
It's called survival instincts, and as a natural born prey species it is reasonable to assume that a pony's survival instincts are most likely highly developed.
5629709 We believe thou would find similar opinion when gazing on our little 'sombra's' companions in the coming chapter. ^..^ Though we wonder how cross overs may work with one's world.
I like this guy.
5635592 you are my friend now
