And behold - a god of destruction, sent to punish us for our sins rises from the sea. And in its wake is naught but death and despair. A monster is born unto the folly of arrogance; death comes, and the dead will soon pity the living. (Complete)

Just got back from Hawaii. The roads there are horrible, they make me want to scream.
But now I'm back at home, where the roads are straight, and the air isn't so wet that I drown. Hawaii is a nice place to visit, but I would never live there.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this new chapter. It's basically plot filler, but I feel that too much action will ruin the story.

Was?
Is there something wrong?
Ah, the magical equivalent of the oxygen destroyer. I wonder if Twilight will go the same path of Dr. Serizawa and sacrifice her own life to use her destructive weapon to end Godzilla or will her Chameleon friend decide to bear that burden for her? Will this even end the same way as the original Godzilla or are you just giving the ponies a chance of victory when there is actually none? Keep up the good work!
It's godzilla 1954 all over again with the oxygen destroyer and shit.
I noticed that mother nature seems REALLY fond of Godzilla... if the ponies do wind up killing him I can think of a thousand different ways nature can make them suffer until they all die slow and painful deaths, at east Godzilla gives most of his victims a quick death! Which do you think is the lesser of two evils, being in massive pain for a few seconds or a few months/years of similar suffering?
Either way its a lose/lose situation for the ponies since they managed to tick of their worlds mother nature, you don't screw with nature man! You just don't unless your stupid or have a death wish...

I can't tell you much (otherwise it would ruin the surprise), but what I can say is that this Oxygen Destroyer will work in much the same way as it did in the film.

Indeed it is.

Nature never chooses favorites, she only fosters those who would strive to survive against her. Godzilla is a survivor. Thus nature sides with him. It has nothing to do with liking the monster; nature does not create monsters, she can only ever strengthen them - she is cold and precise, always choosing the most practical and pragmatic approach. While, in this story, Godzilla is her 'favored son', he will only remain as such until that time in which the elements that have oppressed her have been removed. After that, she will no longer require the monstrosity that was born apart from her. Watch for it; I've portrayed Nature as a very opportunistic element, finding a means to an end and exploiting it to the fullest. In the coming chapters I will reveal her to be what she truly is.
As for killing Godzilla; you can never truly kill Godzilla. After all, should one fall, another one always takes his place. After all, it was Dr. Imane who said "I can't believe that Godzilla was the last of its kind - should mankind continue to test and develop nuclear weapons, then another Godzilla is sure to appear." And he was right - another Godzilla did appear. The mantel of Godzilla is a title passed down from one individual to another, and as such it should not matter whether this Godzilla dies or not - he will doubtlessly return.
To everyone else, be forewarned - I will be introducing another outside element in the next chapter, another nation of my own design. If this bothers you, understand that I needed to do this to progress the story further - expect no shenanigans, for they are not a 'Mary Sue' race.
Other than that, I've already got the next chapter halfway done.
The Ether Splitter, hm? I think Destroyah is coming to town tonight, I believe....But even if I'm wrong, it's still a great story, nonetheless.

Danke.
If I ever make a sequel, I would imagine that Destroyah and many others would make an appearance.

Huh, danke. I suppose I haven't disappointed you thus far then? Well, give it some time - I'm bound to kill someone you like... Or not; I've been surprised by how many people actually like this story.
4532673 Whoa! I didn't notice this one. Well. It must be....um.... Ok. I'm confused.
Is anyone going else cheering for godzilla?
It's sad that the videos aren't available. i don't know if all of them was the same video or different.
