Hanna, the CEO of Hofvarpnir Studios is a one in a billion. So, what about the other half dozen people like her? Would they make the same mistakes, or all new ones?

Coming soon, to this guy's brain: My Little Paranoid: Friendship is Fear.
I'm loving it. Finally someone who knows their way around security!
Tense shifts, man, tense shifts! Figure out whether you're writing this story in present or past tense. In the prologue alone, I counted nine shifts. I really recommend past tense. Present tense is a good fit only for narratives which need to fill in very little backstory, as it imposes limitations on how you can introduce "old" information to the reader.

thank you for the feedback. I had to google that one. I think I have this fixed in this edit.
I'm sorry it took so long to comment, but I had to make sure I wasn't being followed. (and my laptop charger breaking had something to do with it too)
I'm kind of baffled that he can't find this document. Surely CelestAI would leave a neutered version in just-barely-accessible niche of the DarkNet so that truly clever and driven individuals could discover that Hofvarpnir hadn't invented Strong AI after all.
Incidentally, to make a faraday cage you take a shoebox, put electronics in it, and then wrap it in a ton of tin foil. Doesn't need to be grounded if you're just trying to stop radio interference/EMPs.
...making a Faraday cage that you can actually take stuff out of without ruining it is trickier.
Supplying electricity to something inside a Faraday cage without compromising the shielding is also tricky.
Apparantly people have made server rooms into giant Faraday cages simply by covering all the walls and floors in thick layers of foil. The doors leak at the edges though.
...you think I'm kidding
