I can totally see Pinkie holding the Flash role without any help whatsoever. But aside from that, who knows?

Some of the secondary or background characters might work better than the mane six anyway. Diamond Tiara's dad could be killed in a dark alley thus prompting her to avenge the night. Scootalo could be an orphan and last survivor of a doomed planet. Cheerily could secretly be a changling with powers of invisibility and intangibility. Lyra could be obsessed with hands...

Cant wait to see where this defense league goes. Also I wonder what Oa will do to gilda for the results of her Crime. And cant wait for more AJ/Dash moments. Seems like there might be something bubbling up between them

I read this fic and the one preceeding it and I am enthralled by how good you've mixed the two universes together. A few hints and bits of another stories from the DC universe from make the world a lot larger. I'll be waiting impatiently for the next chapter.

The sequel started of strong. I like that. Also, bit of the wrong spot to put this in, but the Granny Smith death scene reminded me of the Gwen Stacy scene from the Spider-Man Comics. They were very similar.

Also, I love AJ's development. And then Big Mac's impending Red Lanternship, would we see a sibling war?

It's just happened RELATIVELY recently, that the whole several different corps have formed, but the Violet rings, or, at any rate, their precursors, have been around for a while now. The guy who made the Red Rings, or, anyways, the group he's a member of, has been around for a while as well.

On a different note, the Justice League of Equestria? Nifty. Still looking forward to more. Also, loving Spike's reaction to Twilight bringing out...(dramatic music) The Brainy Specs!

This is the effect of Mac's Red Lantern ring, I'm sure of it. It's creating anger, rage in fact, all over the planet. Just as the Yellow ring causes (and is powered by) fear so it is creating rage. Even the Princesses are affected and that's a bad thing. Twilight is smart enough to create some pretty nasty weapons and this version of Equestria is rapidly setting off onto a path towards becoming the precursor of a Fallout: Equestria-type world with war becoming self-sustaining and then paranoia and fear exacting the harshest price.

I'm genuinely worried about Mac's fate. Although the Red Lanterns are more victims and more controlled by their rings than the Sinestro Corpsmen, he may still be held responsible for any damage caused by his possession of the Red ring.

Interesting that the Equestrians know, at least as a myth, of the breaking of the Light of Creation into the colours of the emotional spectrum.

Will Twilight one day be a White Lantern? Or will she be the Equestrian equivalent of Iron Man, using a runic-powered armour?

Blue Beetle Twilight? I kinda like it. I personally woulda made her something more magical (like Dr. Fate) but Blue Beetle works. Maybe a little name change to fit Twilight more, like the Twilight Beetle! Yes! It can work!

If not Twilight maybe another one of the mane 6. Right now I'm thinking Dash. Yeah, she could be the Rainbow Beetle!

A ball of green energy shot from her hoof, blowing past the cage and hitting a nearby tree. The deafening sound of the explosion whistled past her ears as the ball detonated, ripping the tree apart and leaving nothing behind but splinters. Applejack looked down at the griffin, who looked absolutely terrified. She obviously hadn’t expected her to lash out like that.
