The real chapter eight. What was originally labeled as chapter eight, “Pasta al Forno,” was an April Fool’s joke that sprang from a ficlet Dubs wrote me for Jesus Day. The chapter titles and order have been rearranged to reflect this.
This chapter eight has less pasta, but a lot more parental abandonment issues. You also get the return of Cringeflower Bloob. But did she ever truly leave us?

1. Tell us about your current project(s) – what’s it about, how’s progress, what do you love most about it?
Number one on my list at the moment is editing Soup Boy’s review of MLP Season Nine. My lack of progress on this has made him extremely agitated. I fear that he will start taking pieces of my skin away in retaliation.
"Pray for me, okay?"

Welcome to the first in a series of self-reflective blogs regarding my writing process and assorted trivia. The title translates to either "Chronicle of Suffering," or "Chronic Pain." I don't know which, but both seem equally appropriate.
When I went back to complete PGS four years ago, and decided to revise and rewrite earlier chapters to close certain plot holes or change certain elements that struck me as problematic to the narrative, I told myself that I would use the boundless powers of revision and retroactive continuity sparingly. And only for good. Never for evil.
I also wanted to avoid doing that with future multi-chapter works, specifically, Wallflower Become Meguca.
A lot of things have happened since this year began.
A lot of it has just been the same general nonsense that everyone else has been handling. A lot of it's been nonsense particular to me. I've spent much of 2020 rambling about said nonsense to people close to me, often (though not always) whilst drunk, and while I don't want to go into much detail about all of it... it's enough to say that I've had a bit more time on my hands than I'm used to since wrapping up 2019.
