I was wondering, given the new trend of art I've been taking on with A New Life In The Crystal Empire... There was a lot of art for CTTB that I was never able to get done. So, now I'm wondering, were there any pictures not created or scenes not illustrated any of you would like to see created?
Okay, so the holiday season is over, and it's a brand new year. With that being said, I'm back home and back to both following up with medical appointments and working on writing.
Chapter 11 is, for the most part, finished, and chapter 12 is largely fleshed out. However, so much of these two play into each other that finishing 12 required rewriting portions of 11, which worked out for the best (I did have some down time while on vacation).
Well, just thought I'd pop in to give an update. Ended up having a pretty bad episode today at home. Couldn't walk, talk, or operate my hands enough to call for help, but was thankfully not alone. Two friends of mine were there to help take care of me and call an ambulance and even stick by my bedside in the ER.
Still no progress for a diagnosis or a cure, but at least I'm not giving up.
Don't forget that now in Equestria... it's a whole new world...

Well... after a promotion and getting bumped up in a higher tier job with my newest contract, I figured things were going to only get better. That, and my health was getting better... until last weekend.
Not many know that I've still been working on the next arch for CTTB. Not only the story, but some of the art as well. Opening the story will begin with this image to help give you an idea of where the story will be going.
Right now, I'm in a weird place. Some symptoms have died down, but a few like the near-constant chest pain and either light-headedness or shortness of breath hits me periodically. Even still, I'm usually drained from dawn to night. Mentally, I'm depressed, working with a professional about it, but most of the time I, ironically, feel empty.
I'll cut right to it, as I've already shared the information on Discord Chat. I recently went into the Emergency Room with some neurological medical concerns. As it turns it, the diagnosis was that I was having mini-strokes (pardon that lack of a formal medical term for the condition).

So, I'll get straight to the point. I am working on the next installment, CTTB: Life in the Crystal Empire. I've got some progress made into it, though it is not an easy go of things as of yet. Primarily, work has gotten more involved, taking me away for weeks at a time.
I still do what I can when I can, but to say I'm busier than usual is grossly underselling my situation.
Alright. So, with the battle over, an epilogue is to be expected, given how much had happened and all the new developments. As of now, the epilogue is written... but Holy Shit did I ever have a lot to epilogue about. (Did I use that word right?) Given that, it will be published in two parts, back to back, the same day. I'm doing it this way because what I have written is over 31,000 words to... umm... do what I do best, I guess.
So, yeah. This chapter took a lot longer than I anticipated. So much rework had to be done, but I think the end result was worth it. Regardless, I just wanted to put this out for you all to give you a heads up that it will be posted as early as I can manage, Friday (tomorrow) Eastern Time.
After that, the final chapter is already being worked on, and has a lot done, so the wait shouldn't be as long.
The chapter is done, as in I have written all my pieces for it. It is pending my editor's revisions for grammatical errors and the usual.
That being said, this is going to be one of the most powerful chapters I've shared, with even more coming full circle. So, get ready for some hard-hitting impacts. This next one is a doozy.
So, this next chapter has brought about so many challenges for me. Lots of setbacks and rewrites of various scenes left me frustrated on top of work picking up and leaving me less time to focus on it.
The biggest struggles have been bringing so many little things back full circle. Details of comments made, revelations discovered, keeping continuity, while managing the pacing of action, drama, and not overwhelming the content to be read.
So, much like my last blog, and the same issues I had with the last chapter submitted, this one has provided some unique challenges. So challenging that what I thought I had worked out to get the story moving to where I needed it to ended up failing.
The next chapter has quiet a lot completed to wrap much of the conflict up, though I'm struggling to coordinate the last bit of action-orientated interactions. I don't know if I'll make the Friday deadline, but it shouldn't be much longer after that if I don't. Just wanted to give you all a heads up, though it would be nice if there was a way to manually push a notification when I get the update completed.
So, if you've checked your feed, 100.5 Part 5 is out. However, I should point out that this chapter was going to likely end up being 20,000+ words if I didn't cut back where I did and publish what I have here and now.
I'm not gonna lie to any of you. This next chapter has been the hardest one for me to put together. The fights have been epic, and some of the dialog has revealed so much that had previously been left unsaid. It's all going to be hard to top without repeating setups or combat styles and similar back and forth.
So, the next/last bit of the story is broken up between different fights and some interesting history revealed from some Or really just one with a back story worth mentioning..
My question is, for you readers, would you prefer everything dropped all at once in a huge chapter, or 100.5. Harmony: The End. Part 1 through... how many ever skirmishes take place?
Something came up with my editor, so I'm waiting on that...

The good news is that I expect 100.4 to be done on time. The "POTENTIALLY" bad news is that I couldn't pack everything I wanted into this next chapter alone, so there will be another follow-up.
So, if you want more of the story, it's good news. If you were dying for it to hit the endpoint... Sorry, but I missed that mark.
