Typos, Typos, Typos!

The beginning of this book is quite nice! I remember really loving my writing of all the Avenport stuff. While I was writing it, I remember the Gryphonstone episode was a recent one, and I thought it was freaking stupid. I still kind of do. I don't like how everything is seemingly in Equestria so often. I preferred to think that the gryphon kingdom was another nation entirely.

• The first half of this book goes pretty smooth and pretty fast. I was very into doing these back and forth scenes if things were happening simultaneously. I'm not sure I'd do it that way these days. Maybe. Who knows.

Thanks to Posted, I was able to convert the fic into an EPub really fast. I have taken steps to make it even nicer on e-readers, too. I've removed the redundant chapter names from each chapter. I've put page breaks in for the title page and foreword. I've also removed all the author's notes.

The icon, at least on my e-reader, is not showing the cover image in full, which is strange. I am not sure how to fix that.

I guess I'll cut to the chase: I am making a well-formatted ebook version of The Conquering of Love. (EPub format) Currently here on FimFic, you can export to EPub, but it doesn't retain text formatting. However, when you export to HTML, it does. I am combining those two things, basically. I am taking the individual HTML chapter exports from here, combining them into a single EPub, complete with page breaks for titles, etc... as well as the lovely cover image.

I'm writing Pinked chapter 3 right now.

If you don't believe me, that would be understandable by now.

I'm sure you noticed since it was supposed to be out last week. Thanksgiving, Ciderfest, and a host of other issues have pushed everything back, unfortunately. Pinked Chapter 3 will be sent to editors this week, and hopefully be released by week's end. I am trying to play catch-up now to get back on track. It won't be too hard since prior to this I was ahead of schedule.
