As summer started, Life seriously decided to come kick my ass, and between work, family matters, friends, looking for apartments, etc, I have lately been exhausted. I apologize for the lack of updates, but computer troubles mixed with classwork has set me back further than I'd like. As it sits right now, the next chapter of Your Human and You (Chapter 61) is at 8,500 words, and we still have some ways to go. I'm not sure when it'll be finished and ready for release, but just know that I have not forgotten about you guys. I'm working on it. It might be slow going, but I'm still working on it.

Now that I'm getting back into the swing of things again, I've decided to try and keep you all in the loop of what's going on.

As of right now, Chapter 60 of Your Human and You is sitting roughly at 10,000 words, and there is still one small scene left to go. I hope to have the chapter wrapped up by Monday and off to whatever editors I might still have (that is if they haven't abandoned me because of my absence).

Unfortunately, there was a death in my family, and while it wasn't someone I considered 'close' to me per se, it hit me a lot harder than I thought it would. Now, I know that most readers don't care for the Coming Dawn/Archmage/Sunny storyline, so I'm ignoring the complaints regarding that fact. It might have taken me several months, I might have had to rewrite the chapter four separate times, I might have had to thrown out 4000 words because I didn't like the direction they were going, but at last... after much sorrow and heartache... the next chapter is nearly here.
