So this is going to be a bit of rambling, so for the tagged story, look at the bottom for the tl;dr.

Work until you can't work anymore!
That's what my new job is like, anyway... I'm getting the hang of it now, I think, but I apologize for the massive delays. It wasn't supposed to be this bad.
Last minute warning, sorry. I'm at Ciderfest! If you see this and wanna meet me, I'll be playing "Are You A Changeling?" in the Tabletop Game Room! Just look for Yellow Glasses. :3
(Just so you know what is helping contribute to not another chapter yet.)
Hey all. Sorry the radio silence lately. I can't go into detail, because quite honestly I don't know where I would begin. Shortest version I can manage:
I have a job now, starting in a few weeks. It's not a good one, but it's something while I keep looking. Time to get back to writing, I hope.
Still job hunting, but at least for the short-term, I want to give a daily blog to let you know of my writing progress, so I can be held accountable, you know? I didn't write much today, I'll admit. 473 words. On one hand, that's not a lot, but on the other, that's... still something, and I'm trying to be optimistic. I need to get back into the groove, so as long as I'm writing something every day, at least for now that's something I'll consider a victory.
I've been listening to that song on repeat for quite awhile, what with the end of the show...
But if nothing else, at least... It's helped me see some things, I think. And long story short, I'm getting back into writing. It might be a bit bumpy, as I'm rusty, but... Well, it doesn't feel right to see the show end, and I still haven't finished. And considering there's so much more to the story that needs to be said, or rather that I want to say...
Hey... tl;dr, I've got a new job, and it's been draining the life from me. I've woken up at 3 or 4 am multiple times in the past couple weeks, and had a leg cramp two mornings ago, so it's really slowing down progress on writing, but I AM still working on it. I'd just rather start posting chapters once I'm actually done, or ALMOST done, so that there aren't false starts and whatnot. Thank you all for your patience. I really appreciate it.
Alright, so long story short, I've been stuck for awhile. The time-skip idea just made things more awkward, looking back, but I'm doing my best to get writing again to see if I can't get things moving again. For anyone who cares, feel free to poke me every day or so to help motivate* me, lol.
*Read: keep me from getting distracted by the internet
That's right! For those of you/us in the United States of America, at least. I admit I do not know if other countries celebrate the 4th Thursday of November, so my apologies for being insensitive/ignorant.
The title pretty much says it all. I've been rather busy trying to find a job, so I apologize for the delay of the next chapter. I'm going to start chipping away at it, though, because I'm starting to feel the drain of looking and looking and finding nothing but fast food and lower-level customer service jobs. Not that there's anything wrong with them per se, but when you're 25 and looking to find a stable, full-time job that allows you to support yourself while still able to put away some
Hey all! Quick question for ya: if I were to write a non-Fluffy centered chapter, would you guys prefer first person, like the two Kaye chapters were, or would you prefer third person, where everything is more 'factual' from a narrator's standpoint? Going to work on the chapter after that one, so I'll still be working. Might even make it a double-update, considering. We'll see. All depends on how quickly y'all vote.
First of all, I want to apologize. It's been an aggravating month for me, and I just... let myself vent at you guys, which wasn't fair. Especially once I got back home and saw all of the responses. You guys didn't deserve for me to lash out like that, and for that I apologize.
... You know... Somehow, I'm not quite sure why I bothered to get my hopes up... At least several of you have commented that you want the next chapter, to update, and so forth, yet when I post a blog asking for help to do just that, out of the 422 people following the story, only two dozen of you even clicked on the blog, and out of the two dozen of you, only one person could be bothered to take the three seconds it would have taken to scroll down and click like on the
Alright, so here's the deal: I've been struggling to write, and I recently discovered why, as I was trying to type the next chapter for the dozenth time. There's just too many characters. So here are my options...
1) I can find a way to jump to what is in essence part two of the story, likely using DIscord
2) I can keep plodding along with this, and try to just accelerate the plot a bit
So guess who is getting so caught up in IRL that he totally forgot about writing for a few weeks? <__<
Time to try to get back up on that pony. Wish Fluffy luck, because it isn't easy when you're fa- err, fluffy. Yes.
tl;dr, I had a bunch of stuff I had to do after my grandparents left, so I'm still getting my bearings. Hope to get started on the next chapter soon, though. Sorry!
I'm sorry everyone, but with my grandparents here, I haven't been able to be on my laptop much at all. They leave Thursday night, though, so I hope to get some work done on Friday!
Hey, so uh... I've kind of been gone quite awhile... Long story short, college is draining on me more and more lately. This is my 20th year of school in a row, and at this point... I'm done. After this semester, I'm not transferring to Uni. I'm getting a full-time job for a year to re-evaluate things, etc.
