    I Survived the 'Rona!

... The title says it all, really. I got really sick for a couple of weeks, but I'm alive again. Yay... Now I only need to do 6 weeks-worth of homework in under 3 weeks. Wooooooooo...

So this is going to be a bit of rambling, so for the tagged story, look at the bottom for the tl;dr.

    Work

Work until you can't work anymore!

That's what my new job is like, anyway... I'm getting the hang of it now, I think, but I apologize for the massive delays. It wasn't supposed to be this bad.

    Ciderfest

Last minute warning, sorry. I'm at Ciderfest! If you see this and wanna meet me, I'll be playing "Are You A Changeling?" in the Tabletop Game Room! Just look for Yellow Glasses. :3

Thought I'd Let You Know · 5:35am Oct 17th, 2019

I've been listening to that song on repeat for quite awhile, what with the end of the show...

But if nothing else, at least... It's helped me see some things, I think. And long story short, I'm getting back into writing. It might be a bit bumpy, as I'm rusty, but... Well, it doesn't feel right to see the show end, and I still haven't finished. And considering there's so much more to the story that needs to be said, or rather that I want to say...

Expect new chapters regularly. If I miss a day or two, feel free to harass me.

I'm just going to leave this here as well, since I need to put it somewhere...

In one universe, Twilight Velvet heard crying coming from the library. She entered it with worry, looking her daughter over for injuries, but instead she was seated with a book, clearly having just finished reading it. "Mommy, why do stories end?" comes the filly's plaintive cry. Velvet sat down gently, allowed her young daughter to lean against her as she gently brushed her filly's mane, and did her job as a mother to impart some wisdom to her distraught daughter.
""Why do stories end", you ask? So that you can close the cover, pick up the next book, and open it. There are countless stories out there that need a friend, that want to reach out and touch you. So don't be sad that this story is ending, sweetie; be joyful that another one gets to begin."

... lol. Good luck. XD

In all seriousness, thanks. What I need to work most on is descriptions of surroundings, and stuff like that. The newest chapter was mostly about just getting it out there so I can focus on getting going again, refocusing on aspects, etc.

Edit: Also somehow it got featured again. Site must be slow this late at night/early in the morning. Good to know. :p
