If Kellin Quinn and Tyler Smyth want to keep coming back, then by gods, I believe we'll have a successor to Crush 40.
Hope to have this game beaten by tonight, then it's back to horse words.
And maybe hedgehog/fox/echidna/seedrian words.
I'm getting closer to finish volume II of Equestria Girls: Sonic the Hedgehog. So in the meantime, here is my last preview of the story for you all to enjoy! :
Sunset shook her head before she sat on her bed. “So Sonic, what's this next planet you're supposed to go to like?”
“It's no Earth, I can tell you that,” Sonic sighed as he removed his towel from his head. “There's no people, just breathable air and giant mushrooms and stuff.”
Another preview for anyone looking forward to Volume II of EqG:StH:
My second longest one-shot, at 4,020 words. A Sonic X short story, in the same setting as my last non-pony story; Seedling. Both are set in the post-Metarex Saga, and deal mostly with Sonic, Tails and Amy. While this one isn't quite as expansive, I certainly hope this alternate take shows how I've improved since moving to pony fiction six years ago.
Thank you Hulu, for an absolutely amazing subtitled version.
Sonic the Hedgehog has passed Detective Pikachu for biggest domestic box office debut for a film based on a video game.
It is Jim Carrey's biggest debut since Bruce Almighty in 2003.
Nope, binge still hasn't let up.
Finally managed to break two minutes in Crisis City Act 2.
Then my friend, whom I've been having friendly Time Attack competitions with in Sonic games since 2009 succinctly told me:
"Do it on the 360."
Which ultimately confirmed my suspicions: 30fps is SUCH a handicap on a game this fast.
So I bought him a Steam copy.
No excuses now, pal. You've got 18 seconds to make up now.
Steam's user-rating convinced me to pull the trigger on Frontiers yesterday afternoon. Too early to tell if I agree with that rating yet.
Just under six hours in, just about to (hopefully) 100% the first island.
Fresh off of Digimon Tamers, I'm taking my longtime friend and former roommate through one of the very last parts of my childhood.
Happy 31st Anniversary to our favorite blue speedster hedgehog!
Well, since Phazon was kind enough to point out that after blogging a crazy amount leading up to release, I haven't really come back to give my impressions of Sonic Mania; mainly because I've been playing Sonic Mania, along with doing another run of the StarCraft 2 trilogy... Along with getting increased hours plus a raise at my job after losing my weekend job.
So hear it is, my review of Sonic Mania.
I really thought that would take more than a day.
Sonic Forces complete, game time clocked in at under four hours.
I think I can definitively say that I believe Sonic Team is creatively bankrupt. Gameplay-wise, it was passable, but it handed out A and S ranks like candy. My only C rank was when I died 17 times. I miss the days of Unleashed when A ranks took serious effort, and S ranks took borderline memorization.
When a friend alerts you to a 75% off sale, yeah, I sacrifice eating out once to finally see for myself how good, mediocre, or bad this is.
Once I tear myself away from The Division.

This song is such a banger. Can't wait to hear this when the game comes out.
Alright, so, the last time I bought tickets for a theater performance was in 2008.
It was easy. Placed my order, got the tickets by mail, took the train to Chicago, walked to the theater, enjoyed the show.
So fast forward to 2024.
The 15% off Valentine's promo code (good until today, 2/18) is not working.
Both parking garages are sold out. I'm not driving around downtown Cleveland to look for parking.
Sonic Frontiers has finally de-throned Sonic Heroes as the bestselling 3D Sonic game of all time.
Sonic Mania's Steam page right now:
