R.I.P. Equestria Girls · 2:44pm Nov 30th, 2018
While scrolling through Netflix, I have discovered that the first Equestria Girls film has been dropped from their listings. Hopefully they'll put it back up, but I'm worried it might be permanent.

In which Sunset Shimmer goes back to Equestria!
Just a couple of days left until the new YouTube series starts for Equestria Girls. As we wait, I have a review of Friendship Games posted already and it continues from Rainbow Rocks a few months later. The girls head into a competition with CHS's rival school called Crystal Prep and face not only the Shadow Bolts but this world's Twilight.
Does anyone have or know someone who has the Rainbow Rocks and Friendship Games Crew Commentary in it's full form with audio and video who can send me it? I have Legend of Everfree and they are definitely my favorite thing about the movies (next to the music).
If you have it (or know someone who has it), please message me and I will share a way to send it to me.
Thanks

Due to some personal situations, my editor and I have split paths, and I would like to find a new editor to help edit my stories. I will give you credit and advertise your account. If you are interested or want to learn more, Dm me or something and we can talk on discord.
i'll be starting a EQG fight club series, each story will be a one shot fight between random EQG characters in a underground fight club scene. i am open to suggestions for different fighters to face each other
The funniest part about that image was that it was commissioned, finished, and posted a week before the movie premiered at the LA Film Festival.
I'm not going to bother writing a full review of it.
Here's all I'm going to say about it:
The plot was a remix of "A Canterlot Wedding" and "Mirror Magic". The resolution was STUPID. The villain was ANNOYING. The song at the end was FORGETTABLE.
It had a few fun moments, but on the whole? It's a solid 5/10. And that only for Sci-Twi and Sunset getting obsessive over the ring toss.
Pinkie Pie baking cookies with Tank and Gummy.
Sheer adorableness.
Nothing to complain about here.
So much love letter to fanfiction! Wow!
I just debuted a new blog section called The Equestrian Blog, a place where I talk about topics related to MLP. The first entry has me talk about the new series and why its frustrating to see EQG get wasted in a cartoon short format.
As the Halloween season is over we enter November for Thanksgiving and a new series of Equestria Girls. Hasbro announced recently that Equestria Girls will be getting its own YouTube series. It was about time they did this as the series was begging to be made into a weekly episodic format. The first Equestria Girls movie review is up in Pony Central to honor and anticipate the show starting November 17th.
I’m disappointed still that Equestria Girls as a sub-franchise, never got a proper conclusion.

If you have any questions, comments, or criticism, feel free to leave them in the comments, and I will try my best to respond.
Since it's established in the Equestria Girls short "Overpowered" that frequent use of the Geodes' powers causes them to get a boost in power, I'm wondering if any fan fiction out there has a scene where they have to take advantage of this.
Well, that's not entirely accurate; the issue's with the technicolor humanoids, but the pun was too good to pass up.
In any case, Hasbro saw fit to unveil no fewer than seven EqG shorts on the day of the Season 8 premiere, on top of the two that trickled out recently. Unfortunately, I can't do a timely review of those shorts since, well, Season 8 premiered. At least I'm set for a week should we get an intraseasonal hiatus.
Some info on Equestria Girls 4 appeared here.
So, it appears that "Legends of the Everfree" is now the official name. Also, Humane 6 goes camping. Curious. And hyped!
My thoughts (spoilers):
What got my attention from the get-go: MORE CRYSTAL PREP! And indeed, the academy is actually revisited at one point. I was surprised to learn in Chapter 3 that Cinch is STILL the Principal, and Cadance still the Dean. Maybe ol' Abacus has not been relieved of her duties as of yet (chronology comments below). I can't help but laugh at how she is described as a "small, serious woman" in this book.
