Holy balls that is exciting. I hope they can pull it off! I've entertained myself before with cynical fantasies of how easily and badly Hollywood could screw up a big screen adaptation of MtG (think the Dungeons and Dragons movie), but seeing it in the hands of the Russos fills me with great confidence. And a Netflix serial format would be perfect, they'll be able to have a proper arc and characters and stuff. This could be awesome!

I saw elsewhere that it was going to be a new storyline rather than rehashing anything that already exists. That was followed by speculation on maybe fleshing out Shandalar, giving it an identity other than "generic fanasty plane".
