Interesting design. What made you choose 'arachnopone' rather than the more commonly used 'spiderpony'?

I think it works since it looks a heck of a lot more spiderlike in contrast to the spiderponies, which are equinized driver/spiders.

I love the word 'pone'. I try to slap it onto anything I possibly can when naming pony stuff. Like, tentacle ponies are cephalopones to me. I also like the word arachnid. It's just... fun to say, I dunno. Spider is cool, but arachnid has this whole weight to it.

I'm also not very into super heroes, so I try to distance my arachnopones from Spider Man where possible.
