5703375 Well seeing as how we have not seen her celebrate either hearths warming eve or Christmas I am guessing she would more than likely spend part of it with her human friends then during the evening on the 25th of December she more than would likely go back to Equestria and spend the rest of the night with Twilight and her friends. Just a guess though.

She would probably spend Christmas Eve in the human world, then after morning, she would spend her day in Equestria, then go back again to join any parties in the evening.

5703682 I was going to request one the artist on the site to do a christmas picture of Sunset hanging out with her brother Sunburst.

I don't think Sunset would understand Christmas apart from the commercialism. From what we can see in the EqG films, she wasn't that much immersed in human culture at the start (EqG1 and events before that) as she was plotting more on how to dominate. After EqG1 she was still learning much about herself and others. I would think along the way she will learn about Christmas (shameless plug: I did try to have a Christmas-themed Sunset story)
