Honestly, in that clip: Rarity doesn't look cuddlable to me.

Part of it's probably the animation-style of Equestria Girls: They're too human to be adorable little ponies. But (to me anyway) they're not quite human enough to, well, look human.

Another part's probably that I have more reservations about snuggling a (Human) woman, then I do about snuggling an adorable little furry thing (such as a Pony). I'm not saying that a man and a woman shouldn't snuggle, if they're not romantically involved. But they should at least be a little careful.

I agree. This is a group (and thread) about cuddling, not sex. Granted, there is a lot of overlap between cuddling and sex. But those pictures are much more sexy-pornish, then they are snugly-cudduley.
