Warhammer 40k jokes aside i think yes the group is about humans that dont give up easily, the human can be turned into a pony but that doesn't make Him/Her will be less Human (unles they leave their humanity behind) than a Human Character.

Example: You become a Pony but instead of the tipical "now that i am a pony i will act/become like them" you do this "i might be a pony but that doesn't mean i will become like them"
